Why Klaus didn't kill Stefan o Damon?

The killing of two people in a small town wouldn't have passed unnoticed, and he was sure they woundn't have been able to hamper him; then he was too absorbed in breaking that blessed curse! lol

Because he wanted butt seckz from Stefan. Honestly though, I'm going to go with what moyran said.
