Author's Note: So I've been wanting to write a fan-fiction for awhile now, but I've had trouble coming up with a decent idea. I wanted to stray from the norm, and then something hit me. This story is not going to be anything I've ever seen done with this fandom before. Its plot is going to be much darker, violent and twisted. (I'm planning on basing the plot off of aspects of a mostra called "Supernatural") It will be about the Winx girls, though, (and Roxy) so don't worry about that aspect. But, if te frighten easily, do not take too kindly on the aspect of "demons", violence o swearing, then please refrain from Leggere my story. One anno ago, the Trix ha rubato, stola the dragon fuoco from the fairy known as Bloom and raised the ancient army that only those living during the beginning's of Magix could have known about...the army of decay. It was filled with demons and monsters that people could only describe as beings from Hell. The Trix led the army through the lands, destroying Redfountain, the city of Magix and even Cloudtower in their wake. The only hope of their world being saved, rested in the abilities of Bloom.

In her time of need, Bloom turned to her headmistress, Miss Faragonda for assistance. Faragonda took her under a lake of Domino to see Daphne, Bloom learning that there was another flame of the dragon fuoco in the palace of Domino. She and her Friends went there and she soon regained her powers, traveling back to Alfea to help defeat the Trix and their army.

But, even though she fought valiantly, Bloom Lost to the Trix's leader, Icy, and all remaining fairy's, specialists and witches had to retreat; Alfea soon being consumed da the army's strength and numbers. Once the whole planet of Magix had been taken over, the Trix saw it fit that they become the new leaders of this broken and ravaged world.

They kept the army at their side, just in case anyone dare to rebel against their rule. Once they established their kingdom, known as the Necropolis, they soon thought on what to do with the remaining fate and specialists on their taken planet. Darcy, the most malevolent of mischievous of the three sisters, thought of releasing an incurable virus into the dwindling population. Her two sisters agreed with this, and soon sent a few of the monsters to capture a witch o fairy. Once their host had been acquired, (a former witch of Cloudtower) the three planted the disease on her and soon released her; the witch rejoining her former group.

A few days later, reports of the whole group killing each other began to spread. The virus soon found itself in other lone groups, each time, the result being the same: everyone killing each other. The virus was soon dato the name "Croatoan"—after the name of a former Earth tribe who merely vanished during the Aztec period. (some people speculated that the cause of this disappearance was due to disease—thus the name was born)

The virus worked quickly and it's effects were simple; the infected person would begin recitazione aggressive, snapping at people and seem easy to aggravate. Eventually, their aggression would increase, a full transformation taking place in under 24 hours. The infected, known now as "Croats", killed o infected anything anything they came in their path. (healthy people becoming infected da being bitten, o having the Croats blood enter their system)

The population of the people remaining on the planet soon dwindled into a mere handful. Those who survived (or are still surviving) the pandemic, live in an area known as "The sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza Haven". It is a small community made up of a few witches, fairy's, specialists and teachers of Alfea, Redfoundtain and Cloudtower. Each person on sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza Haven has a responsibility, either: keeping watch, finding Cibo and water, finding any another survivors o even any help—which may be just be a tedious job altogether.

A few weeks after the Croatoan virus had been put in place, the Trix realized that word of the infection and of their rule over Magix would reach the ears of those who ruled other planets in the magical dimension. They knew that if others came to help, there would be full scale war and they knew that they were not prepared for that. They soon encased Magix in a powerful bubble made of dark magic; nothing being able to get in o out of of the planet.

The Trix remain the tyrannical rulers of Magix. They have put all those who resisted them in their place and now they are finally deciding to put their ultimate plan into action. Rumors have been floating around that the three witches are planning to unleash an unseen and powerful horror from beyond. The survivors do not know much about this creature, but what they do know is that the Trix will have to break 10 seals that are keeping this "horror" locked away. While some believe that these rumors are untrue, fear still lingers in the hearts of everyone; all the survivors hoping that something, o someone, will put a stop to it all.

Which is where the story begins...in the area known as sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza Haven there lived a group of girls, famous for their accomplishments and powers. They all went da many names, but, they were all best known as...the Winx Club.

Author's Note: So this is chapter one. It might be a tad bit short, but this chapter is really only about explaining what has happened and what is going to happen. In the successivo chapter, the Winx—and all the other characters—are certainly going to be introduced so, don't be too disappointed that they weren't in this one :3 Well, I hoped that te like this idea and will follow my story.
