"Vida and Caleb are staying with Abby tonight."

He looks up from his paperwork, intrigued da her comment—the first in an ora of silent working.

"Oh yeah? I didn’t realize they had their bags with them."

She smiles at the restraint he’s showing, the determination he’s fighting to mask his excitement. They’re not alone in the toro pen, after all.

"She packed one for them. I gave her the key when she picked them up from school."

"Sounds like they’ll have a good time, I’m sure."

His voice is strained, thick with the hope of a night to themselves. He isn’t ready to let himself...

Armor Down

After work we were walking
And a guy passed da
Delivering to te a rose
Ironically colored red
I just had to speak up so
the words are finally detto
But te answer"haha there's the joke"
I walk home alone with
sadness consuming all my soul
And I wonder if te truly know
That my Amore for te is endless
And that that was just a way out
Because you're actually afraid to say it
Now I have no doubt
that there are some emotions
You keep trying...

These are all completed multi-chapters stories.

These stories made me laugh, they made me cry, they made me upset, they made my cuore went out for them. They kept me company when I felt so alone. They became my bedmates on cold rainy nights and my companions under the sun on a lazy breezy day.

If I don't feel my cuore jump with even one scene then it's not worth my time.
