Okay in Breaking Dawn when the Volturi are there. Edward o one of them say that hes thinking of any excuse to carry out punishment. Why didnt Aro do something when he read Edward's thoughts? Because Jacob told Charlie about werewolves. Shouldnt that be good enough for them?

Not that Im not gratefull that they didnt act on it. I mean Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. are smart, did they just skip that possibility o overlook it?
