Does anybody know when twilight book series is supposed to take place?

I think the reason that no specific dates are mentioned is to make the book timeless, thus can be enjoyed for years to come. but here:

i don't think it has a specific time frame like some libri do, i think it was made to be just a present giorno kind of setting

well when she published/copyrighted the libri it was 2005. so i'm guessing that's when it's taken place but the other answer is good too, the only other one, that could be it to. =)

o 18th (Tue) – She meets Edward Cullen who is drawn to her blood. Edward leaves Forks for Alaska for one week to avoid killing Bella. (TW1)
o 24th (Mon) – Edward returns to Forks (TW2) (SM-TL).
o 25th (Tue) – Car accident
o 26th – March 1st (Tue) – Edward avoids Bella

actually there is a book with all the risposte that was published, I use it for all my Fanfics and such, it is the Twilight saga: Official illustrated Guide. it helps a lot for all things twilight related.

Unless it's stated otherwise, I usually just go da the anno in which the book was published. Twilight was published in 2005. So, going da the mese and giorno that was dato to us in Life and Death, the very beginning of the first book begins on January 17th, 2005 and goes to sometime in May of the same year. New Moon picks up on Bella's birthday, September 13th, 2005 and goes to around April 7th, 2006. Eclipse goes from May 14th, 2006 to June 16th, 2006. And Breaking Dawn goes from August 12th, 2006 to January 1st, 2007. If te look it up online, you'll find a full timeline of all the books.

2018/2019

It is supposed to take place in 2005 in the first book.
