And. For those who use Edward's absense as an excuse, don't bother. It's an invalid aid in this argument because Jacob left Bella too. Edward left to protect her from himself. Jacob left to protect her from himself as well. It's one for one. They both left her for her safety.

There are plenty più proving that Edward is più dedicated to Bella. He literally will do anything for her, when Jacob won't. I'm not saying Jacob won't do many things for her, because he will, but Edward will do way più for her than Jacob will ever do.

If te have read it, then te should know why did Edward do what he did. Because he LOVED her SO MUCH and didn't want to hurt her anymore... he left, even thought it was were hard for him to do that.
he hurt himself so bad for her safety.
