Wicked Summer Musical Wicked

Winnie Holzman has superbly adapted the novel penned by Gregory Maguire in order to accommodate everybody’s fondness for the denizens of Oz. Even after half a dozen years the respective show is still managing to give fine performances. This can be judged by the national tour that is being held at venue of the Dallas Summer Musicals that has been brought in for its third visit.
Donna Vivino plays the character of Elphaba and Chandra Lee Schwartz plays the role of Glinda. Together they make a perfect pair in this fine and awesome play. Vivino does not have the vocal power that many of her predecessors had, and hence she makes it an entirely new character. (Though I personally wish that those who had been in charge of the music and the vocals would not have made her copy the mannerisms that had already been too familiar from the cast album but still she did a job well done). Schwartz’s Glinda plays an awesome role and gives a very genuine and an original performance.
In the last few minutes of the substitution, a very significant character that is of a Broadway performer named Jayne Houdyshell, who is a 2006 prestigious Tony Award nominee makes an appearance as the Madame Morrible in the Thursday nights press opening. So I think you all participate the show then you came to know what’s is the real fun mean so don’t delay just but the link and get the real fun.Overall it is a perfect show and has its shares of flaws but is a must watch for all Broadway lovers.
