I Amore animation. Hell, I am actually planning to get a career in being a writer for animation. And there are a lot of animazione out there. However, some of them can be… pretty screwed up at times. Now, for this list, I am only including one scene per show. I am also only including episodes from shows that I have seen. Also, these have to be cartoons. So, Goosebumps, while scary, is out. Also, I am excluding most anime, because the lista will be full of them. However, if it has been shown to kids on TV, than it is allowed. Okay, now, with all that said, let’s start the list.
#10: Imperfect Cell from Dragon Ball Z - Now, this is lower because Dragon Ball Z isn’t really meant for kids. However, it did air around the time kids were still watching the program, so thousands of them saw this. The build up started with people across Earth disappearing, and only leaving clothes. Once Piccolo goes to find out what is going on, he is then met with Cell, a life form created da Dr. Gero. At first he doesn’t look too bad… until he shows what he can do. Basically, he uses his tail to stab people with them, then begins to drain their bodies until their entire bodies are gone. That there is real terrifying, and how could it not be. However, this is lower because, like I said, this mostra was never intended for children. So…. yeah
#9: Wormy from Spongebob Squarepants - Now, this episode is più imagery freaky than anything else. The episode is about where Spongebob and Patrick agree to watch Sandy’s animali while she’s away. While watching them, the two come across a caterpillar, named Wormy. Once they leave, Wormy turns into a cocoon and then a farfalla that night. Once Spongebob and Patrick go to see Wormy, they then see that Wormy is now a butterfly, and think that it’s a monster. What makes this episode so creepy is when te get a close-up of Wormy’s face. It just looks so creepy. Doesn’t really make farfalle look that beautiful, huh?
#8: Abra and the Psychic Showdown from Pokemon - Yeah, I know I am going against my own rules about not putting Anime on the list, but this was an Anime mainly designed for children. This episode, however, makes me domanda that. In this episode, Ash and his Friends go to battle against Sabrina, the Psychic Type Pokemon Trainer. However, what she does is put Ash and his Friends in this creepy world, where she uses them like dolls, and she also has this tiny doll talk instead of her. This episode is just so scary… but, not as scary as James’s crossdressing from Beauty and the Beach… ugh
#7: Bloom and Gloom from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Now, after seeing Lesson Zero, I didn’t think that the mostra could make anything scarier… until THIS episode came along. Some people were confused as to why I detto this episode was scary, so, let me explain it in this way. In this episode, mela, apple Bloom has constant dreams about her cutie mark, and how it affects her and everyone around her. At first, it just seems pretty cartoon-like, but then gets so damn creepy, as her cutie mark affects her friendship and her family’s trust in her, and she ends up thinking she is still dreaming. Now, if te don’t see it yet, think of it this way. Imagine that your talent caused te to have your Friends and family not want to be near te anymore, and that te are dreaming so much, that te can’t tell what is a dream and what is reality. That is horrifying.
#6: Freaky Fred from Courage the Cowardly Dog - Now, The Courage the Cowardly Dog has a lot of scary episodes. Now, even though King Ramses Curse is the più popolare for these choices, it never really scared me as much as most people. This episode, however, did. Okay, so, I was più disturbed than scared, but still. This episode has Muriel’s nephew, Freaky Fred, come from a visit. However, we learn that Fred has a creepy obsession with shaving hair. He then traps Courage in the bathroom and begins to shave him. This shows us possibly one of the most psychotic characters in the series, as he is constantly smiling and takes joy in his creepy obsession. Oh, and the Canto children in the background really don’t help
#5: Speed Demon from Powerpuff Girls - Yeah, it’s not surprised that Lauren Faust has that one episode in her shows that are disturbing as hell. Speed Demon is one such episode. In this episode, the Powerpuff Girls are excited to go on vacation and when they are out of school, they race home so fast, that they travel to the future. Once they realize that they are in the future, they see that it has become an apocalyptic nightmare, where everyone has turned insane, and the entire city of Townsville is destroyed. We then learn that Him took over Townsville while they are away, allowing him the perfect chance to take control of the town and rule over the people. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the townspeople begin saying how it was all the Powerpuff Girls fault that this happens. My god, Faust, I Amore your work, but Gesù Christ, te can be disturbing as hell at times
#4: Mind Pollution from Captain Planet and the Planeteers - Now, we all know this show, but I doubt any of us liked it. However, that doesn’t keep this episode from being disturbing. In this episode, Linka’s cousin, Boris, gets hooked on a designer drug known as Bliss. Once Linka comes to visit him, she accidently gets hooked herself. Even though the other Planeteers try to get her to quit, she keeps ignoring them… until Boris ends up dying due to a drug overdose. Yes, there was actually someone who died of an overdose in a kids cartoon. te can’t even make that stuff up.
#3: Blue Cat Blues from Tom and Jerry - Now, this is a rather disturbing episode, because… well, lets find out. It starts with Tom sitting on a train track, while Jerry says “It will all be over soon and it’s better this way”. We then cut to a flashback, where Tom is trying to win his girlfriend back after she left him for a richer cat. Jerry tries to stop him, but Tom just ignores him and keeps doing whatever he can, including buying jewelry, spending his life savings, and even giving himself away to slavery just to buy a car. Sadly, none of it works, and Tom is left in a state of depression. After this, Jerry is just glad that he is in a perfect relationship, only for his girlfriend to leave him as well. This also puts Jerry in a state of depression and he joins Tom on the train tracks, as a train whistle blows. And if that wasn’t bad enough, this was the shows last episode, and there is a theory saying that Tom and Jerry committed suicide. If that isn’t disturbing, I don’t know what is.
#2: Insane inthe Membrane from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Oh man, this mostra was awesome. Sadly, though, it aired on the 4Kids channel, and te all know how much I hate 4Kids. But, I can agree why they didn’t want to mostra this episode. In this episode, we get to see the past about one of the villains, Stockman, who was a brilliant scientist, who tried to create a revolutionary project. However, what happened instead was… very horrific. The test ended up causing his body to turn green, and then begin to decay and fall apart. We are also dato this just “lovely” image of him hammering his arm back into place with a nail. And it’s no wonder this never aired on the channel
#1: scoiattolo and Hedgehog - Now, before te all get crazy, YES, this is a kids show. YES, this was shown to children, and NO, this is not an anime… I think. It doesn’t seem to have the Anime style, so, no, it’s not. Anyway, this was a Televisione series that aired in Korea. It was meant to be a political show, mostrare off a war on fiore collina as a group of forest critters battle the army of weasels. What makes this entire mostra disturbing is that it is an actual war, but with anthropomorphic animals. It has gunfights, swearing, and violence. And let me remind you, THIS SOMEHOW WAS ABLE TO BE mostra TO CHILDREN! Either the censorship in Korea sucks o Korean kids are just più hardcore than us in North America. I don’t know.
So, there te have it. Did te enjoy the list? Tell me what te thought of it below. With that, I will see te all successivo time
