Well, everyone, it seems that Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable is coming to a close soon, with the last few episodes just left before the series finale. All that’s left is to wait for Bites the Dust, and hopefully a Vento Aureo Anime in the coming future. So, before we all say goodbye to Diamond is Unbreakable forever, I want us to take a look at the multiple enemy Stands that appeared in the series. Unlike Stardust Crusaders, the Stands in this part were a little più creative. Not as impressive in some skills and strategies, but still pretty creative. Not to mention, the users weren’t ever killed da the heroes, and most of them became allies with them, so it’s easy to see that they wouldn’t be as dangerous as they were in Stardust Crusaders. So, I am going to rank the enemy Stands from least preferito to favorite. And I am only listing non main character Stands. So Josuke’s Crazy Diamond, Koichi’s Echoes, Okuyasu’s The Hand, Rohan’s Heaven’s Door, o my personal preferito Jojo Stand, Kira’s Killer Queen, will not be on here. Also, my lista of least preferito to preferito Stands may differ from how te prefer them, so try to understand that this is just one big opinion. With all that out of the way, let us start the list.
Rank 19: The Lock (Used da Tamami Kobayashi)
Everyone says that The Lock was the worst Stand, and they can’t be più right. The Stand is just a very uninteresting Stand that is barely effective in any way possible. The Lock is just what you’d expect. It’s a giant red lock that the user uses on people. Whenever the person feels any sort of guilt, for any reason, then the user is able to use The Lock to be placed on the targets cuore and but a heavy weight on their heart. This weight causes them to be immobile and to feel an intense pain in their heart. And that’s about it, really. Everything else stops right there, and there is nothing più to the Stand other than “It just makes te feel like crap when you’re guilty”. I like how it could have been used, but there was literally no other reason to have the Stand other than to have Koichi introduce Echoes Act 1. Other than that, The Lock was one of the most pointless Stands in Diamond is Unbreakable and I don’t think it could have been better, in my opinion.
Rank 18: Boyz II Men (Used da Ken Oyanagi)
I don’t think I ever wanted to hit a child più than Ken Oyanagi. This kid was just so annoying, and was probably the first time I hated a single issue of Diamond is Unbreakable. His Stand, Boyz II Men, wasn’t much better, I’m afraid. Boyz II Men has the ability to strip away any powers that it’s enemy has. If the enemy happens to try to use that attack, it will only hurt themselves, and they will get weaker and weaker until Boyz II Men has completely absorbed all their powers. Sounds pretty cool right. So what’s the problem. To completely drain the opponent, Boyz II Men has to beat the enemy in a game of Janken three times. In other words, play rock, paper, scissors in order to take be effective. Are te serious with this? This whole Stand just felt like a filler episode, without any reason to exist. I mean, of all the things this Stand could have been used for, and it was used for a little più interesting game of rock, paper, scissors. Sure, seeing a manga artist and a kid jump ten feet into the air with these weird specters behind them as they play rock, paper, scissors would be cool to see in real life. But Jojo isn’t real life, and I found this issue to be just a really dull one, and Boyz II Men is most likely responsible.
Rank 17: Superfly (Used da Toyohiro Kanedaichi)
And the winner for most dull design for a Stand in Diamond is Unbreakable goes to. Yeah, the design of Superfly is nothing più than a giant pylon. A real creative design, isn’t it. But, I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. Strength from Stardust Crusaders was just a boat, yet it managed to be intimidating, and its user was an orangutan. So, is Superfly just as good… Afraid not. The ability of Superfly is that it’s in independent Stand, so it’s not controlled da it’s user, and even is a disadvantage to it’s user. The user is trapped within Superfly and lives inside it, so in order to get out, the user must lure someone else inside, and escape, allowing them to be trapped within Superfly. When the person trapped inside tries to attack Superfly, it will absorb all the attacks it has taken, and send them back at the attacker. It does allow the user of Superfly to do some neat tricks, like cutting Superfly to send bolts at Josuke, so I will admit, it was a pretty cool idea. But other than that, Superfly has nothing much else to talk about. It’s just a giant pylon that traps people. Nothing più to say.
Rank 16: Cenerentola (Used da Aya Tsuji)
Alright, now this is where things get a bit più interesting, because these successivo two Stands are ones that I kinda like and ones that I kinda don’t. Cenerentola is one of those Stands that I kinda like, but at the same time, it’s flawed in ways that kinda make it far from being perfect. Cenerentola has the ability to change the appearance of those it chooses, so that they may be able to find love. For a beauty stylist, I think that Cenerentola would be a perfect Stand, honestly. Not to mention, this Stand played a huge role in the investigation for Kira. I also do like that Cenerentola is based on how the Godmother in the fairy tale of the same name would make Cenerentola beautiful. But, other than that, Cenerentola doesn’t exactly have a lot. Sure, this Stand did have a huge part in a shift in the story, but other than that, all Cenerentola can do is just make someone pretty, increase their chances of finding love, as seen with Yukako, and not really much else, I’m afraid. I don’t hate Cinderella, because it’s got too much creativity about it, but it lacks too much to be considered one of the better Stands.
Rank 15: Cheap Trick (Used da Masazo Kinoto)
During the first half of Diamond is Unbreakable, I heard a lot of people talking about how Cheap Trick was one of the worst Stands in this part of Jojo, and I gotta be honest, I didn’t hate him as much. Was he good, no, but he wasn’t as bad as everyone said. I do like the idea of a Stand that tries to mentally manipulate the user, but it is barely used throughout the entire fight between Rohan and Cheap Trick. Cheap Trick is one of those Stands that are only effective when the user dies first. When a person sees the user’s back, Cheap Trick will kill the user, and sposta to the back of the person who saw them, whispering to them to follow it’s orders, o trying to get others to look at it’s back. It tries to get others to look da making others try to look at the person Cheap Trick is latched to. Other than that, though, Cheap Trick really doesn’t do a whole lot. Just pisses everyone off to get the enemy it’s latched to killed and when he just so happens to succeed, he moves to the successivo one. Great idea, but kinda poor execution. Also, Cheap Tricks defeat was one of the best in Part 4 in my eyes.
Rank 14: Achtung Baby (Used da Shizuka Joestar)
Another baby Stand user, and I was honestly expecting a lot from the baby. Stardust Crusaders baby Stand user gave us Death 13, my preferito non-main character Stand of Part 3, and I wondered if they could superiore, in alto that… They didn’t, but Achtung Baby was still an interesting Stand nonetheless. Achtung Baby is a Stand that makes the user invisible in a protective manner, and really, that’s about it in a sense. Sure, that doesn’t really sound like much, but I like how creative it can be. te see, when the user's stress level increase, so does the effect of the Stand. This eventually causes the area around Achtung Baby to become invisible as well when the user's stress gets too high. And the problem with that is, since the user is in face a baby, they are always prone to stress, so they are most likely going to do this to the environment a lot. Sure, Achtung Baby is no fighter… Like, at all, and is più of a defender, but just the idea of it being based on their stress, and how stress is prone with babies, it just seems kinda interesting to me (And yes, I did put Achtung Baby at a higher rank than Cinderella… Boy, I sure do have great credibility).
Rank 13: Pearl marmellata (Used da Tonio Trussardi)
Of all of the Stand users me and my Friends joke about, I think Tonio has to be one of the most joked about. Then again, what do te expect from a chef Stand user of all people. Though, I do like how they didn’t make him a total psychopath when they first met him and he was actually a friendly Stand user. I didn’t even know that was possible. But anyway, onto the subject of Pearl Jam. Instead of being a Stand that tries to harm its targets, it does the total opposite. Instead, Pearl marmellata heals his “targets”. As demonstrated through Okuyasu, Whatever injury te have, Pearl marmellata will take those parts out of te and fix them. Have a rotten tooth, it will be pulled from your mouth and replaced with an all new tooth. Have a bad skin rash? All of your skin will be removed and replaced with fresh skin. Have an upset stomach? Your intestines will be ripped out of your stomach, and then put back in and you’ll be healed… Pearl marmellata heals people in weird ways, but the point is, it always works, and is the perfect Stand for someone like Tonio.
Rank 12: Surface (Used da Toshikazu Hazamada)
Okay, so as pathetic of an individual Hazamada was (And I mean he was completely useless), he makes up for it for his Stand… Well, his Stand makes up for it, Hazamada sure doesn’t. Anyway, Surface was a pretty interesting Stand. Taking the form of a wooden dummy, whenever anyone touches the dummy, that is when the Stand takes effect. Surface will take the form of the person who touched it, but with a screw in their forehead, but other than that, they are an exact copy of the person they are copying, down to their fingerprints. Once Surface has the physical appearance of the one who touched them, it then really shows it’s power. When Surface is face to face with the person who touched it, it is able to completely control them. They are unable to sposta o do anything, and if wanted, Surface could make them kill themselves, all da just stabbing himself, without harming the user in anyway, but completely killing the enemy. Though it is limited with the range, it can be a very effective Stand. Only thing from keeping it perfect is the user itself. They didn’t use Surface to their benefit at all, and it was just so much wasted potential in my eyes. If Surface had a più competent user, I feel as though it would have been much better, and much higher on the list.
Rank 11: Ratt (Used da Bug-Eaten)
Each Jojo part has at least one animal Stand user, and Bug-Eaten was the very first, and in my eyes, probably the most intimidating. Bug-Eaten remained hidden throughout this part, just hiding from Jotaro and Josuke as they hunted him, but Bug-Eaten proved that he could just as easily hunt them thanks to his Stand, Ratt. Ratt is actually used da two different rats. One that is unnamed and killed da Josuke when he launches a bullet at it, and Bug-Eaten, a much più intelligent rat. The Stand, Ratt, is like a sniper rifle. It uses a scope and a sort of bullet to fuoco at its enemies. However, unlike a sniper rifle, when Ratt hits someone, the bullet will begin to melt their flesh into a gelatinous substance, completely immobilizing them, and eventually enough to melt their flesh so that Bug-Eaten could eat the remains, making it one of the più deadly and più cruel Stand users. Even with Jotaro’s stella, star Platinum The World, he was still unable to avoid getting hit da Ratt. So, yes, Jotaro could go up against a hundred anno old vampire, but a topo, mouse gives him trouble.
Rank 10: Amore Deluxe (Used da Yukako Yamagishi)
I wasn’t too sure if Yukako was a major character. She definitely appears più than other minor characters, but she definitely does to a lot to be considered a major character. In the end, I just saw her as a Stand user that appears a lot. She’s like Hol Horse in a sense, appearing at random parts but never doing anything major. but instead of being a loveable bastard like Hol Horse, she’s più of a loveable psychopath who loves Koichi WAY too much. Also her Stand is a million times better than Hol Horse’s Emperor. Amore Deluxe doesn’t have it’s own design, and instead, is a part of Yukako. da that, I mean Amore Deluxe is Yukako’s hair. Amore Deluxe is able to life even the heaviest objects, including that of a human, and she can crush them with her hair. She’s even able to send a few strands of hair at her enemies, which she then controls manually to attack her opponents. Being a part of her makes her a lot più difficult to spot, even for other Stand users, and I think that is one of the unique things about Amore Deluxe and why I enjoy it so much. And it’s just hair. How can hair be this interesting?
Rank 9: Stray Cat (Used da Tama)
Another animal Stand, and also another Stand that only takes effect when the user is killed, except done right this time. Tama is a dead cat that takes the form of a fiore once it is brought back to life. Now unable to move, it behaves just like a normal cat, only when it sees those as a threat o sees the very people he hates, like when he believes Shinobu killed him, he then becomes a bit più violent. Tomo’s Stand, Stray Cat, allows it to attack people just from where it is standing, without having to sposta at all. Stray Cat launches air bubbles at its enemies. As ineffective as that sounds, it is very deadly, I assure you. The air bubbles are strong enough to knock a person back, o even enter the veins of an individual to block the flow of blood to keep them from moving. It is even able to protect itself with an air bubble. Killer Queen’s bombs were uneffective within the bubble because there was no air within, and Killer Queen could not physically attack Stray Cat because the air bubble was too powerful. Though Stray Cat is very powerful, it does have one weakness, and that is that it is only strong within sunlight. The più light, the più strong. And vice versa, which is why Kira keeps Stray Cat in the attic. And Stray Cat also becomes huge part of Kira, which I think it deserves some bonus points for.
Rank 8: Harvest (Used da Shigekiyo “Shigechi” Yangu)
Now this is where Stands start to get good (In my opinion). Harvest is a Stand that consists of hundreds of these little creatures that are able to run all across the city of Morioh in no time. Harvest doesn’t have a lot of physical attacks, but it definitely has a lot to make up for that. Harvest lives up to the name, as it is able to collect numerous things with ease, being able to scan all across the city for money and tickets, and having over five hundred different units of Harvest to collect them. However, Harvest isn’t totally defenseless. No matter how much damage Harvest may take, it won’t cause much damage to Shigechi. In fact, it probably won’t cause Shigechi any harm at all. Harvest is also able to collect anything, including parts of humans. When needed, Harvest is able to puncture human flesh, and remove different parts of it in order to attack, like that of locusts attacking a crop farm. Harvest is also very strong, being able to carry anything, even Shigechi if he needs to run quickly. And what I think is the most creative thing about Harvest is that, if they can collect enough liquor, they can inject the liquor into the enemies bloodstreams, getting them drunk and impairing their vision so that Shigechi has the advantage. I really do like these multiple unit Stands. They always seem to be so creative…… Let that bring some foreshadowing into this list.
Rank 7: Atom cuore Father (Used da Yoshihiro Kira)
te gotta admire Yoshihiro’s dedication to protecting his song, Yoshikage Kira. Even as a ghost, he wants to protect his son no matter what, which is some hardcore dedication to being a father. Even if he has to kill a couple of high school students to do so. So what’s his Stand like. Well, Yoshihiro’s soul is bound to the Stand, Atom cuore Father, and he resides inside a photograph. Whenever a picture is taken of his targets, they are trapped within the same room the picture was taken in, and if anyone tries to enter the room, they are teleported out to the other side of the room, and are unable to enter it. Once inside their, Yoshihiro will use the photograph that he had taken as a way to kill those in the photograph. If he cuts the picture, the person within the picture will die, unless they are able to take just a picture of Yoshihiro and save themselves. If they try to destroy the picture themselves, they will only be ripping themselves apart. And even if they were lucky to get out of that mess, Yoshihiro is still able to sposta through the picture that he was in. And that is what he does. Being one of the wielders of the Golden Arrow, an item that grants Stands to those with enough energy, he uses this to create più Stand users to protect his son, all while inside a picture. Once again, Atom cuore Father is another Stand that ends up doing a whole lot for the series, and ends up creating new Stands. Some good… Most terrible. But, don’t worry, we’ll get to the better Stand users he created very soon.
Rank 6: Aqua collana (Used da Angelo Katagiri)
The first enemy Stand of Diamond is Unbreakable and definitely a good way to start off Part 4 if te ask me. And what better way to have a Stand such as Aqua collana than to have a Stand user such as Angelo, a convicted rapist and serial killer… And this was the più tame Jojo arc. Let that mostra how tame this series is. Anyway, Aqua Necklace. Aqua collana is a Stand completely made of water, and uses Water to it’s advantage. Aqua collana is able to manipulate water of any kind, allowing it to slice through it’s enemies, and kill them with ease. Think N’Doul and Geb from Stardust Crusaders if Geb had a face. That’s Aqua Necklace. However, just liquified water isn’t the only thing Aqua collana can sposta through. It is also able to sposta through any sort of steam. He is even able to control people da entering their bodies, such as when he manipulates a man to rob a store and hold a worker hostage, which ends up revealing himself to Josuke and Josuke making himself a target to Angelo. Aqua collana is also able to disguise itself as any sort of liquid, as proven when he kills Josuke’s grandfather da turning into a bottle of liquor. Aqua collana was the perfect Stand to start off Diamond is Unbreakable and really get people into the series, if te ask me.
Rank 5: Enigma (Used da Terunosuke Miyamoto)
This has to be one of the più creepy Stands. And how could it not be, when the user has to understand the fear of his target in order for the Stand to be effective. Miyamoto claims that Enigma was a real crappy Stand, but if te ask me, it was easily the best Stand of the July 15th arc. Enigma is a Stand that is only effective once Miyamoto notices a sort of fear in his target, such as when they bite their lip o touch their chin. Once he is sure how a person expresses fear, he will have them trapped within a piece of paper. Once inside, there is no way for them to get out unless Miyamoto o anyone else unfolds the piece of paper, releasing whoever is inside. However, if Miyamoto were to rip the paper, the person inside would die, and nothing about it could be done. And if te think Miyamoto can trap people within the paper, I assure you, he can trap a whole lot più in there. He can trap a set of tea, a bottle of chemicals, scorpions, an entire shredder, a handgun, and an entire taxi, complete with cab driver. It’s shocking how this one guy claims this Stand as being “Crappy”, yet he can do all of this. He really shouldn’t be so modest. I mean, it’s not like he has Superfly o Cheap Trick. That’s for sure.
Rank 4: Earth, Wind, and fuoco (Used da Mikitaka Hazekura)
I don’t know what it is about the Stand that I Amore so much. Maybe it’s because of the creativity behind it. Maybe it’s because it allows for some creative thinking and useful ideas. o maybe it’s the fact that Mikitaka is an alien… And yes, this is a Stand user who is an alien. Since he is an alien, however, he is unable to see Stands, and he isn’t even able to see his own Stand. Earth, Wind, and fuoco doesn’t have much of an appearance, and instead, it just uses it’s ability to mostra how it works. Earth, Wind, and fuoco is able to turn Mikitaka into anything that the user wants to turn into. When it needs to escape from sirens, it turns into shoes and jumps millions of feet away, and climbs up a building in order to escape (Yes, that actually happened). It can turn into wire to trick enemies and can turn into dice when Josuke was trying to trick Rohan in gambling. It also seems to regenerate some of Mikitaka when he loses body parts, such as when he removes some parts of him, and suddenly grows them back, without the originally one's changing. Earth, Wind, and fuoco is definitely an interesting Stand. Is Earth, Wind, and fuoco a powerful Stand? No. But just how Mikitaka uses it, I can definitely say that it’s one of my preferito Stands.
Rank 3: Bad Company (Used da Keicho Nijimura)
I was so mad that this Stand didn’t get much più time to be shown in the series. Bad Company was just such a cool looking Stand, and it’s abilities were just as amazing. Just like Harvest, Bad Company is another unit Stand, only this one is a lot più offensive than Harvest was. Used da the older brother of Okuyasu, Keicho, Bad Company takes the form of an entire army of soldiers, all the size of little toy soldiers. However, though they are small, they are incredibly dangerous. Bad Company is able to fuoco bullets that leave several small bullet holes within their targets body, which cuts through them like regular bullets. Bad Company, just like Harvest, is able to take lots of damage without the user being hurt in any way. The Stand doesn’t just have soldiers though. It is also capable of having large military tanks and attack choppers which fuoco missiles that are powerful enough to destroy the arm of it’s opponents. This is definitely one of the best Stands that had way più potential than it was given. I wish I could talk più about Bad Company, but it was taken away far too soon. I wish we could have gotten a lot più of Bad Company than what we were given.
Rank 2: Red Hot Chili Pepper (Used da Akira Otoishi)
The first major villain of part three, and it is some guy who is just too lazy to have a normal job and life, and just uses his Stand to screw around. But his Stand is definitely one of the coolest ones in Diamond is Unbreakable. Red Hot Chili Pepper is a Stand that is completely made out of electricity and everything about it is electricity. Akira is able to express his words and even the emotions on his face through Red Hot Chili Pepper, making it appear to have a personality of it’s own, instead of just being an emotionless Stand like most of them are. Red Hot Chili Pepper is much stronger with electricity around. The più electricity there is in an area, than the stronger he gets. That is why he was barely able to escape the fight with Okuyasu, because of the electric pipes underground allowed him to just barely get away. Red Hot Chili Pepper is also able to spy on people through any sort of electricity, such as TVs and motorcycles. This also allows him to take control of anything electrical, which is how he was able to steal an electric chitarra and even the Bow and Arrow, which he used to create multiple Stand users in Morioh. If he uses this attack on a person, they will eventually die if it continues for too long. Red Hot Chili Pepper is the ultimate troll Stand, if te ask me. Creating Stand users to attack the group, always talking about the flaws of others, all while having that grin on his face. And that, mixed with his insane power and abilities, are what make him great.
Rank 1: Highway stella, star (Used da Yuya Fungami)
It was hard for me to choose a preferito out of the superiore, in alto three, but in the end, I had to go with the Stand of strada, via punk Yuya Fungami, Highway Star. Highway stella, star is one of the più threatening Stands of Diamond is Unbreakable. It has so much amazing abilities, and seeing how it is used is just amazing. First off, Highway stella, star is able to give Fungami his strong sense of smell, and uses it to hunt his enemies. However, he can’t just smell his targets that easily. First, he must lure them in. più specifically, with a room that one would want to enter, such as when Rohan entered when he thought he saw Kira, and when Josuke entered once Rohan was trapped da Highway Star. Once Josuke walked in, his scent was already caught da Highway Star. Once Highway stella, star has someone’s scent, he will then chase after them, forever. Highway stella, star has no limits on how long it can run. If the person it is chasing is not going faster than 60km, Highway stella, star will latch onto them, and begin to suck the nutrients out of them and give them to Fungami, which is what gives him his sense of smell. Highway stella, star shows this da attacking Rohan and chasing after Josuke, all the way from the tunnel to the hospital, which is an epic moment, seeing Josuke try to avoid Highway stella, star on nothing but a motorcycle and his Crazy Diamond the best he can. It was a very nice thing to see, and it’s great to see that they brought Fungami and Highway stella, star back for the fight with Enigma and Miyamoto. Highway stella, star is a very threatening and impressive Stand, and I see it as my preferito non-main character Stand in Diamond is Unbreakable. Not my preferito Stand in Part 4, but it’s definitely up there.
