This chapter is called "Irresponsible Eric." For reasons later explained... No, not all chapters will have a title. :3
Delta giggled in delight, tugging at Fang’s hair more. “Kitchen!”
He groaned. “We just came from the kitchen!”
“Now!” the three anno old screamed, and he winced. “Go!”
“I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but I liked te better when te were twelve.”
“Don’t care,” she exclaimed. “Now go, pony!”
“I’m a bird.”
“Don’t care!” she repeated once more, and he sighed, running back into the kitchen. “That’s it,” he sighed, and dropped her on the couch, receiving a mini Batglare. “Nope. I’m done with you, at least until this stupid storm is over and we can get the League to figure out what’s wrong.”
Delta growled, but her higher pitched voice made it sound kind of like a small cat-like sound, and Fang burst into laughter. She pouted and dug her back into the couch, pointedly looking away.
Hayden walked in, holding Aisling, who looked like she’d just seen a ghost. Her nails were digging into his shoulders, and he was slightly twitching, but otherwise seemed fine. He dumped her on the divano with Delta, and she whimpered and curled into a ball. “What happened to her?” Fang questioned.
“Oh, she’s always like that..” Delta giggled, swinging her legs. “Always.”
Eric came in, and the two others were surprised to find Fin sleeping peacefully in his arms. “I.. hate you,” Hayden muttered, glancing away.
Eric chuckled, shifting the weight, and sat down on the couch. “So what now?”
The boys had figured out that the girls were indeed Delta, Aisling and Fin, just in smaller forms, with no recollection of basically anything. Fin had figured out that Eric was nicest to her, so she stayed close to him, without having the slightest idea why she liked him so much. Delta found herself with Fang most of time, but only because she found pleasure in torturing him and telling him what to do. With the other two guys ‘claimed,’ so to speak, Aisling had settled with hanging around Hayden, even though she was so easily startled.
“No clue. We sit out the storm until the League can fix it, I guess...” Hayden murmured, glancing to where the two toddlers on the divano were now calm, not yet asleep, but still calm.
“Yeah. That’s the best answer.”
Fin shifted slightly and buried her head in Eric’s neck, and he smiled slightly. “I kind of want this to last, though.”
“I don’t.” Hayden and Fang simultaneously growled.
Delta suddenly sat up and made a soft whistling noise, which Fin seemed to instantaneously respond to, sitting up in Eric’s arms, now fully awake. They grinned at each other, and then they turned to Hayden. “Thirsty,” Fin shouted, with a slight lisp.
Hayden sighed, and went to the fridge. “Um... we have kool-aid, milk, and water.”
“Kool-aid!” Aisling suddenly screamed, making everyone jump.
“Kool-aid it is,” Hayden chuckled, and poured a cup. “Delta, Fin?”
Delta only laughed, and Fin shook her head. But the latter did accept a cup of water, sipping it quietly while Aisling chugged her kool-aid.
A couple minuti later, Aisling seemed fine enough, but she was grinning from ear to ear. She wouldn’t tell anyone why, however. Delta was giggling uncontrollably, and Fin was smiling shyly. Something in the back of Fang’s mind was telling him something was very, very wrong, but he ignored it.
His first fatal mistake.
Eric sighed. “That’s it; I’ve got to contact someone. We can’t just sit here forever.”
Hayden nodded. “If te can make it out of here, and manage to make it back without getting Lost in that storm, we may be able to figure out what’s wrong with them.”
“Right,” Fang agreed.
Eric stood and looked at Fin. “Be good, okay?”
Fin nodded shyly and hugged him quickly, waving to him.
He somehow did manage to make it out, but was met with a thick sheet of never ending snow. He covered his head with his arms and began to run towards town, occasionally sinking into the ground if he stopped for too long.
da the time he got to the ‘safehouse’ that Silver had texted him she was stuck in, his blonde hair seemed white with all the snowflakes, and his nose was becoming frozen. He knocked desperately on the door. “Oi! Silver!”
The door was opened. “Oh, god! Epsilon, get the hell inside, Fin would have my head if te froze to death!”
Silver practically pulled Eric into the house and slammed the door shut. She quickly threw him a towel and he ruffled his hair completely dry, getting the snowflakes out. “Thanks, Sil.”
“No problem. te were at the cave, right?” she asked, settling down on the couch.
“Yeah. te remember when Fin, Delta and Aisling left, couple days ago? Their own little mission?”
“Uh, yeah?”
“Do te remember who it was against?”
“No.. not really. Why?”
Eric sighed, and began to tell her what they’d all found when they were at the cave. da the end of the tale, Silver was desperately trying not to laugh. It was in complete vain because he took out his phone and showed her pictures of the three, and in a secondo she was on the ground laughing like a maniac. “They’re so cute!”
“I took the pictures for blackmail...”
“And because te think Fin’s adorable like this and te never want to forget?”
“No!”
“Sure, Ep. Sure.”
“Shut up. Can te help me contact the League, or..”
“This storm’s supposed to last for a while, but we can-- Um. I think te have a visitor...”
Eric glanced towards the door, which Fin was trying to close, but the winds were too strong. Eric got up and strode over, slamming the door. He picked her up, and looked her in the eye. “What on earth were te thinking?” he exclaimed. “I told te to stay there!”
“No,” she softly said. “You detto be good.”
He sighed, turning to Silver. “Fin, this is Silver. Silver... yeah.”
Silver reached out with one hand. “Hello, Fin!”
Fin shyly shook her hand. “Hi, Silwer.”
Silver made a small ‘aw’ noise and held both arms out. “Can I?”
Fin jumped out of Eric’s arms and into Silver’s. Eric sat successivo to them both, and Silver opened her laptop.
They spent another ora there, trying multiple signals and call waves, but after the sixty minutes, there was just no results. Eric sighed, waved goodbye to Silver, and took himself and Fin on the trek back to the mountain. He offered Silver to come with him, but she refused, saying something along the lines of ‘all her stuff was here.’
When they got back to the cave, Eric found a way in that didn’t involve using any power. What he saw made him gape.
The cave was in practical ruins. There was paint everywhere, streamers and silly string hung from the rafters, and there were papers strewn about on the floor. Eric walked into the living area and almost tripped over a pair of people on the ground. He glanced a secondo time and was shocked to see that Fang and Hayden were tightly wrapped in titanium wire, duct tape on both of their mouths. He ripped the tape off both their mouths.
“What happened?” he yelled.
Fang glared at the small figure in Eric’s arms, and Fin giggled nervously. “That happened.”
Delta giggled in delight, tugging at Fang’s hair more. “Kitchen!”
He groaned. “We just came from the kitchen!”

“Sorry I’m late!” Flash said, speeding into the room and sitting down at the table.
“As long as you’re here.” Batman said. Everyone in the room was totally surprised.
“Well, we’re all here. What is it?” Superman asked.
“We’re not all here.” Batman said. “Not yet.”
The zeta tubes buzzed to life. “Recognized: Nightwing, B-01.”
Nightwing waked into the room and nodded at the Justice League members seriously.
“Grow up not like Bruce.” Wonder Woman muttered.
Nightwing took one of the empty seats at the table. Batman spoke up.
“There’s a talpa on the Team.”
“Again?!” Nightwing exclaimed.
“But this time, I’m confident who it is.”
The Justice League was startled. “Who?”
“Red Revenge.” Batman said, pulling up a holo-computer of the Black Hero.
