Warnings for fluff and crappy endings.
One week later.
Kyra smiled as she entered the cave. “Happy holidays!” Tanner shouted as she entered, startling her and lighting her hair on fire. “Dude!” she laughed. “Don’t do that!”
She walked into the hall to go down to her room, and walked back out into the living room after having caught Aisling and Rowan under the mistletoe. Not without having taken a picture, first.
She smiled at Delta and quickly ducked when a snowball was suddenly flung her way. “Sis! Seriously!” She only laughed when più snowballs came flying at her, and she created her own from the debris of snow behind her. “You’re cleaning that up!” she shouted at Delta, who only cackled. “No!”
“I haven’t lived here for a while! I’m più of a guest!”
“Still not gonna!”
Kyra laughed and tackled her sister, giving her a noogie. “Whatever.” She got up and saw Ciel preparing a snowball, quickly running past. “Nuh-uh!”
Ariel waved at Kyra as she checked the hall to make sure it was clear; waving back, she walked down the hall. Fang came out of his room, and instantly closed the door. “Uh...”
“Too cheerful,” came the muffled voice, and she laughed. She walked past Harley and Rene, who were talking outside the door of a room about the upcoming holiday, and smiled. “‘Sup?”
“How are te feeling?” Harley asked.
“Perfect,” Kyra replied, grinning widely.
“Good!” Rene smiled.
She finally made it into her old room, where everything was cleaned off and she’d begun to live there again. Sitting on her bed, she ran a hand over the covers, and glanced over towards her closet. A soft knock alerted her to someone outside her room. “Come in..”
Eric slid the door shut, and chuckled. “What?” she insisted.
He pointed above her head, and she looked up to see a couple leaves of mistletoe. “I’m going to kill Aisling later.”
“I’m sure.” He slid onto the letto successivo to her and kissed her. She pulled away and hugged him, burying her head in his neck. “I’m sorry about all this.”
He ran his fingers through her hair. “What?”
“Well, everything...”
“It’s not your fault, te know...”
She sighed, her grip around his waist tightening. He tilted her head up towards him. “Are te going to apologize?”
She smiled. “I’ll be in touch more, sure.”
“And?”
She paused, thinking, then sighed. “I’ll talk to him.”
He kissed her cheek. “Good. Now lets do something involving snow.”
She grinned evilly. “Delta!!!”
They ran out of the room, both of them laughing, and they dragged as many people as they could outside. A snowball fight commenced, girls versus boys, and they basically enjoyed the time they had.
