I walked to the hall where all the rooms were and decided to check one out. They were medium in size, had basic things like a bed, bathroom, drawer and a closet. I walked into the bathroom and changed into my white pants I brought in case of emergency. I slipped them on then walked back out.
“I miss the skirt” complained a voice beside me. I whipped around and saw Wally standing there, grinning. I grabbed my mace.
“Is it training time yet?” I asked. He shook his head and ran off, a look of fear on his face. I laughed.
“Nice job Alex” A voice detto from behind me. I spun around to find Shayera waiting for me.
“Training?” I asked. She nodded. “I’ve been practicing! I can fly now!” I showed her. She flew beside me to the mission room. We flew up so high, we were in the rafters!
“How about we have our lessons up here from now on?” Shayera suggested
“I like it!” I agreed
“Pop quiz! What is your mace made of?” she quizzed
“Nth metal. It is made specially to repel magic” I answered easily
“Good. Now I’m going to teach te a technique that only te and I can perform: opening our minds to telepaths like Martians” she instructed “Close your eyes and imagine opening giant doors”
“Okay, now what?” I asked
“That’s it!” she smiled
“Really? Cool!” I exclaimed. We kept training for two più hours, which was when the mission campana, bell rang. I flew down from the rafters and tied my mask back on. Before I could ask Batman what was up, Shayera stopped me.
“You need a costume! te can’t go flying around in your normal clothes!” Shayera insisted. She threw a bunch of clothes at me. I pulled it off my head. It was a blue version of what Shayera was wearing with some new blue knee high converse. I flew to the bagno and changed into it and walked back out. I stood straight up as Shayera examined me.
“Good, it fits. I had it specially made for you” She smiled. I smiled back and we flew over to the mission room. To land, I did a loop in mid air and came down on my feet.
“Alex, since te need a mask, here” Robin said, pulling his mask off.
“What the heck are te doing?” I exclaimed. Then I saw his smirk and the real Robin came up behind me.
”Did te really think I’d give te my mask?” he smirked
“I hate te so much right now” I growled, putting on the mask.
