Kaldur's head zipped around to look around in the cave. But ciao saw nothing. Becca held her hands to her ears, covering them, and leaning over. "Becca!' cried Robin, "Becca whats wrong?" But Before Becca could answer, Becca screamed. In her head, she could hear loud high pitched tone. Screaming, in some unknown language. Rare in Becca's case since she knew so many.
"Make. It. STOP!" screamed Becca. She feel to her knees, and Robin tried to pull her up, "BECCA!" Becca was crying now. The voices would not stop. Harley stood now, she had faced voices like this before. She remembered all to well, She had been only 9 years of age, when these same voices that raged in Becca's mind attacked her. Harley too could hear the voices, but she ignored them. She shouted out, "Show yourselves Ignorant Ones!" The voices all shook the cave in response, "Do te not remember who we are child? Do te not remember what we have done? What we look like?" Harley flew up, and growled, "All to well." She flew higher into the sky. "What have te done to my friends? Where are they!?" It was quiet, except for Becca's screaming. Harley became annoyed, She had to get them out of Becca's mind, o they'd leave her scarred as well.
"What must i do to get te out of My friend's mind?" Shouted Harley into the air. Robin, angered to see his beloved suffering shouted, "TELL US WHAT te WANT YOU.." But Harley cut him off, "No Robin, it will not help. It will only make it worse."
Harley put a hand on Robin's shoulder, "Trust me. I've seen them before." Then she asked the domanda again, "What do te want to let go of my friend's mind?"The thunderous voices cried out, "THE SCAR! mostra US THE SCAR!" Harley went pale, Kaldur grabbed her hand, "what is it Harley? What is amiss?" Harley gripped his hand, hard. And shut her eyes. "Let go of her mind first then i mostra the scar." The voices shouted back, "Do not defy child." And then Becca's screaming got wild, her eyes flicking color. "Just give them what they want!" shrieked Artemis. Harley sighed, and pulled at the armor that covered her body. The way it appears kind of like the way Megan's clothes formed. But it was built in. She can take it off and it'll disappear back into her body!
"Whoa! what are te doing!" snapped Lucas. But Harley ignored him. She slipped of the superiore, in alto and then the torso. Exposing her chest and stomach. Robin looked away, and Lucas did too, but turned red. Fade didn't even blink. Kaldur fought the urge to look at her. Just then something black began to glow in her body. It swirled over her shoulder. onto her breast to her stomach, and back up to her eyes. It looked like a dragon with part skeleton alien.
Kaldur no longer fought the urge. and stared at her tattoo. Fade's eyes bugged out. and Harley's cheeks burned with the salt of her shamed tears. The scar represented that she had won, but lost. It forced her to endure much pain, and hide who she was for 2 years until it faded, and only then could she control its visual lineage.
"Harley." whispered Kaldur, and her stood, his face staring straight at her stomach. Even robin and Lucas were looking. No one had ever seen anything like it.
"Harley opened her eyes, "I have done as te asked. Where are my friends?" The voices crackled in laughter. Becca was standing staring around and whispered, "Why cant we see them?" Harley sighed, "No one can, unless they allow it."
The voices quieted, "You only asked us if we could let go of your friend. Not the others." Harley screamed, "WHERE ARE THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!" AS Harley's eyes blasted with flames, she was hit. Smacked with such force, that she went sailing. Hitting the bacheca of the cave. Taking Kaldur with her.
"You posses small threat, 'Experiment.' we no need worry ourselves over you." Just then something shadowed over them, it was a huge animals. Skeleton like and Larger than anything they'd ever seen. "OM MY GOD!" whispered Artemis as they drew nearer.
Just as they marveled over the Alien craft. The Aliens in the cave zoomed out. Just a few allowed them selves to be seen. Kaldur, Artemis, Lucas, Becca, and Robin gasped at their faces. And the few that showed them selves, in their hands were Megan and Super Boy. With another, it was Roy and Wally. Alcor was alive and struggling. The Alien holding him shouted something that sounded like alien cursing. Harley turned herself to them, and blasted full-heartily shot a blast of fuoco at the Alien who Held Alcor. It shrieked as the fuoco turned it to ash, and Alcor came flying down. Fade was there to grab him.
He pulled them to the cave. Harley was redressing as Lucas snapped to Alcor, "Okay buddy, i KNOW your alien! Tell us te know who these are." Kaldur stepped in from handing Harley her crown. "Do not domanda my friend in such a manner Lucas. He never knew his parents." Alcor put a hand up, "No Kaldur. He's right. When i crashed to Atlantis. I knew, i had seen my family one last time before they left me. And their faces are forever etched in my mind." Alcor sighed, "My mother was born a human and died that way. But my Father. He wages war against me." Kaldur shook his head, "What are te talking about Evan?" Alcor sighed, "After My father left em on earth. He survived, and recreated our people." Harley snarled "Are te saying?" Alcor nodded, and looked up as the Aliens flew away, "My father will never forgive me. and he will be back."
