As I walk down the streets and find myself drawn strangely to another alley and I walk into it. Partly because I hear a bunch of people yelling and cheering and right about then I hear “Ladies and pimps! Haters of all ages!” and realize one of my superiore, in alto fav. hip-hop/rap songs sweat ya perm out was coming on. Most wouldn't have heard that until they got closer....and da that I mean pressed again the bacheca closer...but I'm not most. Right about then I realize it's an underground club, something like a modern speak-ez. I mean that in 2 ways....1 is that it's not known and 2 is it's in an abandon...

I walk back along the road with Madi and Margi following again. I look up and c Cynder flying so I walk in2 a building and make my way 2 the roof. “Hey Cyn.” I say absently as she flies over 2 me.
“Kem.” she greets with a chirp.
“I think I have my 1st job 4 u.” I reply.
“Already?”
“Yes. I need u 2 follow a physic da the name of Clark.”
“May I ask y?”
“He's on the case now and he's investigating the NYC Demon cases. I don't think I've left any possible leads. In fact, I'm 110% sure I didn't...but he can talk 2 the dead.”

I land on superiore, in alto of a building instead of going home like I was going to at 1st. Detectives were already on the scene, I could sense them from here, crawling over it like roaches in a nasty hotel. I pull off my leather clothes I had on and put on the other clothes I had stored in my shadow. After changing and making my demon clothes part of my shadow, I walk down the steps leading into the building and smile. J-Karry orphanage the sign read. I walk into a room and 5 kids ranging from 5 to 10 are sitting in a cerchio talking about 'Rescue', which is what the kids call me. 'Course...none of 'em...

I look behind me, glancing around, and I sigh softly. I know I won't see them, but it's worth a try. They're bickering back and forth.
“You can't pretend te didn't like Jakey.” Madi says calmly. No matter the situation, she was always calm. She got that attitude from me, I think.
“I'm not the one that dreamed of growing up and marrying Kem.” Margi says smoothly. I get slight;y wide-eyed and lightly pink.
