One warm summer late in the afternoon at 6:30 i saw the sun setting as i relized it was time to go home.I left the the wooden obstical course wich i was training for alpha school,then i started to make my way towards home,as i was walking home i seen an old friend from alpha school,his name was keaka,i asked him"keaka,what are te doing out here? its getting late!" he said"hey kate havent seen te in a while,i was just over da the pond drinking water."Oh i thought te were alone out here da yourself." i detto to him,we kept on talking and i totaly forgot that it was getting late,i suddenly realized it was night time and i could barley see anything but the trees and bushes.i said"uh oh." he looked at me and said"what?what is it?"Im sapposed to be home da now..my parents are gonna kill me." he looked at me smiling and said"its ok ill take te home." i smiled a bit and said"ok."
As we started walking i began thinking about my parents,if they would be mad with me.Keaka asked "kate are te ok?"i said"yea im ok". all of a sudden we herd something comeing closer to us as we were walking,my ears went up as i stopped,keaka looked back and wondered why i stopped he said"whats wrong?" i replied "do te here that?" he stopped and listend to the sound.he said"lets start getting a sposta on" as we continue to walk i started to get scared,i got closer and closer to him.Later we started to hear something in the bushes,i paniced and screamed.A orso suddenly charged at us we herd it roaring we screamed and ran away,as we were running for our lives i tripped on a rock keaka turned around and yelled"KATE!!!!"he rushed over to me trying to pick me up.i finally got up but the orso charged and swiped keaka with its deadly claws.he was half dead,i tried to attack the orso but it as no use,i tried to protect him from the orso da growling.
Finally i herd something in the bushes thinking it was another orso i growled even louder but the orso swipped me injuring my leg.i herd the bushes shake again but this time it was my lupo pack! i was on the ground,i seen mom,dad,lilly and the entire lupo pack.they were here to rescue us.finally they scared the orso away and i slowly got up on my feet and said"Mom!Dad!Lilly! im so happy to see you" they rushed towards me with tears in thier eyes and said"Kate!! thank goodness your still alive! we were so worried!"i replied in a crying voice saying"mom dad im so sorry!i wish i came home right after training!"they hugged me tightly.i realized keaka was still on the ground knocked out i stopped hugging them and said"oh no keaka!" i rushed towards him but he was still on the ground,"oh no!keaka!keaka?wake up!please wake up,KEAKA!PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME!KEAKA!"i detto crying as i shaked him.mom pulled me away from him as she in a crying voice said"im so sorry kate but...keaka is no longr with us" i cried super hard...until i herd him cough i quickley turned around and said"keaka?" he opened his eyes and slowly turned towards me and said"im sorry kate i didnt mean to get us into trouble" i said"its not your fault" he smiled at me and i helped him up and slowly went to the tana, den to help him recover his injuries.everyday i visited him untill he was back on his paws,and we have learned and important lesson that day.
