Kims Haunted Past

    It was very early in the mourning when Kate was awaken from a terrifying nightmare. Kate rubbed her eyes and laid on her back starring at the ceiling of the den. “Man, thats the fourth time this week I've had the same nightmare,” She thought. “Why am I having these nightmares, what do they mean?” “Its the same thing every night?” “Maybe I just need some air to clear my head,” she thought. Without waking Midnight and Humphrey Kate stretched and gave out a yawn and walked out of her den. To her surprise sitting at the edge of the tana, den was KIM. “Crazy Girl” She thought. “Why is she up so late I wonder?”
    KIM was staring out into the open, the sky was clear, with a nice cool breeze blowing through the trees and the stars sparkled like diamonds in the night sky. It was a beautiful night. Kate sat successivo to KIM “Nice night isn't it KIM?” KIM didn't say much but nod her head. “Yea...Why are te up so late Kate?” She asked. “Huh funny I was just about to ask te the same thing!” Kate sighed “I don't know, I haven't been able sleep lately, Ive been having some really wacky nightmares.” KIMs eyes widened, “Really like what?” she asked nervously. Kate couldn't really give her an answer. “OH, I don't know to be honest.” “In the nightmare I'm running as fast as can from a group of men with pistole screaming and yelling at me?” “Don't let her get away!” “Eventually they capture me and then I wake up before anything else happens.” KIM was very silent. Kate nodded her head “So, yea thats what Ive been dreaming about for almost a week now.” “Its getting very annoying actually,” as she yawned. “Other than that, why are te up KIM?” KIM didn't say anything. “KIM whats wrong?” Kate asked. KIM lifted her head, “Kate I'm so sorry your going through this with me.” Kate was confused “What do te mean?” She asked. “Those weren't nightmares Kate, those were flashbacks.” “My flashbacks,” KIM detto sadly.
    Kate was very confused. “Wait what do te mean those are your flashbacks,” she asked. A small tear rolled down the side of KIMs cheek. “Kate,” she said. I'm sorry but I haven't been honest with you.” “Theres a lot of things te don't know about me and my past.” Kate sat and listened to KIMs story. “You see Kate I was never like this before, in fact I was alive many years ago. I was a lot like te and looked a lot like te actually. Young, strong willed, and had a lot to live for. I was the leader of the pack as a matter of fact. Many Lupi looked up to me, for I was a good role model. So I was told. I was also known as the Guardian of Jasper Park.     “There was nothing I could do, I didn't have the powers I do now. There was no point of trying to stop them, cause I knew they would kill me eventually. I got everywolf together and got them to safety on the other side of the valley. When I knew they were all safe, I had to do one più thing, and that was to make sure they stayed safe. Before I could say anything, everything went black, and I was gone.”
    Kates ears dropped. “Oh my god, KIM.” “I had know Idea.” “Why didn't te ever tell me this before.” KIM shook her head “Kate it has just been a really soar subject for me and I have never really been able to talk about it until now.” “You see now what I mean da flashbacks.” “You have been experiencing what I went through that night in your nightmares.” “Is there anything else, Kate asked.” “Yes detto KIM.”

I left my loved ones behind and felt that I had much to do. So I became a wondering spirit of Jasper Park. For many years I wondered the park trying to find a suitable subject for me to live with. Generation after Generation I searched and searched but none were suitable for me. That is until te were born Kate. When I saw te I knew te were to one who could help me finish were I left off. For many years I lived with you, but te didn't know it yet. I was with te as pup and even through te alpha training. I think differently about te now.” “I cant believe everything te went through.” “I couldn't imagine doing that.” “Sacrificing yourself to save everyone else has to be one of the most selflessness things I have ever of any lupo doing.” “Yea, KIM detto sadly.” “ I wish I could see it your way.” “Kate I feel like abandoned everyone I cared about.” “I never knew what happened to any of them.” “I just up and walked away and never came back.” “My daughter seeing me, poor thing had that image in her mind for the rest of her life.” KIM started to cry. “How can I live with that?”
    Kate stood up and gave KIM a hug. “Well KIM this is all I have to say. te shouldn't be this hard on yourself. What te did was amazing, there was nothing else te could have done better. What te did saved Jasper Park and everything that lives here! Just look around you! All of this wouldn't be here if it was for your bravery to sacrifice your self to save the others. Not to mention what te have done for me. Lets face it te saved Humphrey, my sister Lilly, te have saved Midnight tons of times. Plus KIM te saved me. I don't care what any lupo says about you. A curse, A monster, the Guardian. What ever the case may be te will always be one greatest things that has happened to me.” “You will always be a hero my book!”
