Hmm...well I'd invite all the characters from Azumanga Daioh for a start, with the exception of Mr Kimura; the reason being that I'm not sure if any of the other characters would come if they knew he was invited. I'd also Amore to an invite an Anime lady in a chimono, kimono to a Bon festival. Perhaps Sakura from Sakura Wars o Kaorin from Rurouni Kenshin.
