The 100 is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series that premiered on The CW during the 2013–14. The series is based on a book series by Kass Morgan, and the show is developed by Jason Rothenberg. 

If you have watched the show then you know its a dark series which is driven by survival, yes there are moments of romance, but that is not the main focus. And not to mention the female characters are strong, independant and totally badass. Which is refreshing because its something television in the 21st century lacks. 

We, the 100 fans, are asking the network to give the show a Season 3. This petition is to show the support The 100 has behind it. We believe in the cast and crew, but more importantly we believe in the show itself. If given the chance and the promotion it needs due to the fact it went from a spring show to a fall show, and since it was only 13 episodes long in the first season, it will succeed. 

This show is amazing and totally different than anything the Cw has ever done before. This show is literally the best thing the CW has ever done. Unlike other CW shows this show doesnt focus on romance or the usual "this show is only good because i am obsessed with the hot boys", The 100 is dark and not afraid to take risks. The women on this show set such an example and truly carry the show (which is an amazing thing to show viewers since not many shows have such strong female characters. The 100 has made me reconsider everything I thought the CW was capable of and is such a HUGE asset to the network. Please dont cancel it.

This show is probably one of the best shows on television right now. Jason Rothenberg and Kass Morgan, with their enormous vision, gave so much potential to this show. From exploring different aspects of survival to exploring different clans in a post-apocalyptic world, their is enough potential in this show to make at least 8 good seasons with great story lines. Not to mention that the female characters are portrayed as they should be: powerful, determined, resourceful and strong. And this is sadly not something we see a lot in modern television. This show is focused on survival, not romance, which, among the other things, makes it unique and special. The 100 deserves the opportunity to develop its ideas and to prove us that it can become one of the greatest shows on television. The 100 is a jewel that you simply cannot lose.

This is absolutely the best show that has ever existed. It\'s got its mix of strong female roles, drama with romance, and has serious action. The show is not all about romance, but is mainly about the action and the urge to survive. The chemistry between the characters and actors on and off of the show is incredible. I love all the actors and the characters are phenomenal. This show doesn\'t seem to get much attention just because it has not been advertised as much as some other shows on the CW have. If it had been given more of a chance, I\'m sure that many more people would love to see it.

The 100 is exactly how television is supposed to be. Everything is spot on. I even made a twitter account during the first season because it wasn\'t promoted enough and it STILL isn\'t. This isn\'t a show isn\'t about masked superheroes or pointless love triangles. This is a show with real depth. The casting is spot on and the actors portray their characters amazingly. The writing is on another level completely; not just the blood, guts and gore. It\'s all intertwined and they write a interesting gripping story. They are also very active on social media with the fans and that is a big plus too. They answer a lot of questions (mostly riddles) but they engage with fans. Jason (Rothenberg) also tweets to fans and helps bring up the morale. I have never felt so much love and dedication over a tv-show (an awesome live-altering tv show). The special effects are also spectacular, if they weren\'t I would have a hard time watching the show. The 100 is pure gold and if you don\'t know what you\'re sitting on then it must definitely suck for you. In the long run, this will be the show that everyone remembers, the one that left an impact- i can tell you every song that was on the show -kind of impact. I will ramble, because I am passionate and I believe strongly in this gold mine and you should too.

Im signing because this show has become my absolute favorite. The writing is phenomenal, the characters are so dynamic (even the minor characters!), the sets are breathtaking and the special effects are fantastic. I could go on and on about many more of my favorite things but what I love most about it is the female characters. Every single one of them contributes something great, and they are all fantastic role models for girls to aspire to be. Another thing I really enjoy about it is that the romance story arcs are put on the back burner most of the time, it\'s not added in just for drama. And that is something that you just can\'t find on any other tv show. The lack of romance also proves that the people watching this show are watching it for the plot, not just the romance. So it attracks a mature type of viewer that other shows may not get. This is one show that stands above the rest, it stands with shows of the likes of Game of Thrones because it\'s so realistic, there are a lot of harsh truths on this show, but that\'s what makes it dark and mature and all of the fans love it. This show is one of the greats and it would be such a shame for something of its quality to be cancelled, so all I ask is that you please consider renewing The 100 for a 3rd season. Thank you.
