Read the Book! 23 Disappointing Movie Adaptations 

Wow, I hadn't realized that a lot of the those movies were book adaptations. But I think I agree with all of them....except that while "Golden Compass" was poorly done, the casting was fantastic. And now I want to actually see the Demi Moore-adapted "Scarlet Letter". I keep hearing people say how horrible the ending is, which is intriguing to me.
