Ohh it's oh so frustrating when comments about DE are so vague or ambiguous. I'd love to feel completely, one hundred percent positive for once lol!
But I guess that's the beauty of DE - you never know what's going to happen

DE is on the horizon i can see it, They have some momentum. Damon is becoming more the True Damon. He hasn't realized yet he is actually worthy of her and Elena still THINKS she is in love with Stefan. She's gonna have to see that Damon isn't Bad but a wonderful guy. I feel like Damon is Stepping up as where Stefans growth is at a stand still. He doesn't go to be with Elena at the end of rose (she obviously didnt wanna be alone) Damon thought of her enough to bring her her necklace. He didnt storm outta the room when she hugged stefan. he did look dissappointed but he told her welcome anyway. He trusts whole heartedly in Elena and she can know that he's honest and open with her. Stefan buddy you tend to tell lies to her and that will not bring you closer but only drive her away.

I think the actors are very limited in what they can say in interviews, especially when it comes to relationships. But it was nice to hear Nina saying something good about DE for once, instead of the usual 'Elena hates him, it's gonna take so long for her to get over what he did to her' stuff. It was good to see that she has noticed that Elena is in denial about the connection she shares with Damon. It was also refreshing not to hear that much about SE - I know she can't say if SE do get back together or not, even if she knows what happens. I'm thinking that SE's 'on a break' thing won't change for a while. After everything that's happened, it's inevitable that Elena re-evaluate her life and relationship with Stefan. Also, if they got back together quickly, it would make the things that happened feel like it wasn't that serious.
