So, I decided I don't contribute nearly enough, probably because I lose at everything. But despite the awfulness that is me, I still want to write più articles. So, here are my opinions about Snow White. It'll be long, rambling, and I doubt any of te will read it all the way through, but here it is anyway. In the slim chance that anyone is interested.

MacytheStrange's Opinions On Snow White

To some people, Cenerentola has always represented someone making the best out of a bad situation. For me, it's Snow White. She's only fourteen and she's made to dress in clothes that are falling apart (and she still looks stylish, but that's another matter). She's made to do work like a scullery maid, when for the past fourteen years she was royalty. Snow White could be amaro and angry about this, but she isn't. While doing her chores, Snow seems to transport herself to a fantasyland of wishing wells, similar to Belle living in the adventures of her libri and Aurora living her dreams in, well, her dreams.

Snow White is optimistic, saying that all te have to do is make a wish on a wishing well. This may not be a realistic attitude to take to things, but the girl is barely a teenager, and she's an orphan. There doesn't really seem to be any town o village around that she could viably run away to, and even if she did run away, she'd be running from the queen, who could easily track her. So, instead she just makes the best out of a bad situation.

And, unlike some of the Disney Princesses such as Aurora, who immediately dance with the randomly appearing man, when the Prince randomly trespasses into the castello Snow White doesn't immediately just start ballroom dancing with him. She, out of some mixture of shyness at being caught in ratty clothes and GODDAMNED COMMON SENSE, runs back inside while he does his spiel about 'one love'. And then, once she decides that she likes the guy, she goes out onto the balcony to be serenaded. And sends him a baciare via dove. But at least she doesn't start dancing with him secondi after meeting him. That is a relief.

Another thing I Amore about Snow White is her kindness towards others. This is first showcased in the scene right before the Huntsman attempts to assassinate her, when she hears the Lost baby bird crying for help. This is also the first sign of her motherly nature, when she runs to it, cradles it her her arms and immediately asks where its parents are. Obviously, it can't tell her in words, and Snow keeps the animal company, telling it to perk up at being separated from it's parents, much as Snow White herself has had to 'perk up' after losing both of her parents. Then she discovers the location of the bird's parents and points them out to the baby bird, bidding it farewell as it flutters away. This scene is one of my preferiti in the movie, as it showcases her motherly, sympathetic yet firm (she is quite firm to the bird about it being optimistic about it's situation), generous personality.

One thing I don't like about Snow White's critics is their opinion that she was weak for being so scared da the harmless forest. This is not weakness, this is being human. Snow White is fourteen. She just found that a powerful Queen wanted her dead, and she had just had a coltello pointed at her da a scary-looking guy. She had just run away from everything she knew, which would be difficult no matter how bad your life was, and into a dark, probably dangerous forest to which one could assume she'd never ventured. Add to that the fact that it was dark, and the EFFING TWO STORY DROP INTO SWAMP WATER, and anyone would be a bit più than upset after that ordeal. Hey, I'm her age and I'd be just traumatized.

And then, after that experience which most adults probably wouldn't be able to handle, Snow White still does not complain o dwell on her own bad life. Instead, she apologizes to the woodland animali for frightening them, which just shows how much she cares for others. She then asks her new woodland Friends for consigli on how to cheer up, and after Canto 'A Smile and A Song', she is filled with optimism and says that she knows she'll 'get along somehow'. I think this is super admirable, something terrible happened to her, she had her cry, and then she sang herself back into happiness and gets back to the matter at hand, looking for shelter.

Snow White then shows some of her infamous yet often disputed manipulative side, getting her newfound woodland Friends to help her survive. And yes, another thing Snow's critics never really seem to remember is that she literally had to survive in the woods after she was nearly killed. Not many people could survive in the woods, especially after a scary experience, but Snow overcame it and put her skills to use finding a shelter.

Then Snow White finds her shelter, and once again we see her insecurity and desire for people to like her as she fluffs her hair to make herself look presentable before she knocks on the door of the dwarves' cottage. And then, when there is no one home, she meekly steps inside (trespassing: one thing her and her prince have in common!). Then, as all the animali and her are cautiously looking around the house, Snow frightens them da exclaiming "Oh!" and when they run away, she adds "What a cute little chair!" and giggles. I Amore this bit, it kinda seems to me like she was trying to trick them for fun.

We then see her maternal side again when she immediately assumes that the seven people who live in the cottage must be children, and is upset at the thought that they might have no mother. I think this is because she herself has no mother, and knows how bad it is not to have one. Then, being the generous princess she is, she decides to clean their house to surprise them. However, this isn't to the sole means of being kind, she also hopes that with this kindness she could get them to let her stay. This, to me, shows that she can be a bit manipulative and not 'just sweet' as some like to say.

Snow then cleans the house with the help of the woodland creatures, whistling as she works. Snow often gets criticized for taking the simple task of sweeping and having the animali do the rest, but Snow White is the only human there, and I don't think birds and deer can sweep. Snow White also seems to be something of a delegator, which is a fancy way of saying that she's kind of bossy. But in a good way. And, as the animali work, she always scolds them when they cut corners such as licking plates clean and sweeping dust under rugs. This shows one thing: Snow White don't take your crap. And, the animali listen to her immediately. Snow White would DEFINITELY be good at running a business.

Later, after she is awoken da the suspicious dwarves, Snow White is friendly and cordial, saying 'how do te do', but when the dwarves do not respond she chides them for not answering. And then she says to the distrustful and, well, grumpy Grumpy, in a slightly teasing tone "you must be Grumpy!" while crossing her arms in imitation of him. I also Amore this side of Snow White, this teasing, silly side. And then, when she senses that she might be kicked back out of this potentially nice home, she bribes the dwarves with pies. Some people criticize her for doing nothing but cooking and cleaning, but she's in a bad situation and those are the skills she has to work with. If te have skills, te should make use of them. And, later, when the dwarves tell her that they'd washed 'recently', Snow either tells that they are lying, o is just smart enough to check. Either way, she once again bribes them to wash with the promise of food.

And, after dinner, she laughs and dances with the dwarves as well as sings and tells the story of her and her prince, a scene I Amore because it shows Snow White's dreamy and romantic nature. And later she shows her maternal side, telling the dwarves that it is their bedtime. When they offer her their beds she is hesitant, but she takes their offer after they insist. Another sweet scene is when she is praying before she goes to sleep, and blesses the seven dwarves who took her in. She pays special attention to the one dwarf who doesn't seem to like her, saying "Oh, and please let Grumpy like me." This is the best example in the film of how much she wants people to like her.

And, he does seem to like her, as he warns her about strangers like all the other dwarves when they go off to work. Snow White seems pleased that he cared, as she always likes people who like her. Later, when she deliberately disregards the consigli the dwarves gave her, she was certainly making a mistake. But, it is only one mistake, and basically every Disney Princess has one mistake. To be honest, I think people judge Snow White either too harshly o too lightly as far as Snow White eating the mela, apple is concerned.

And, after the prince awakes her and before he (ironically, this is what Snow wished for when she bit the apple) takes her away to his castle, Snow White hasn't forgotten the dwarfs, and she gives each one a baciare on the head and a farewell before she goes off to her happy ending. A happy ending that she deserves.

So, yeah. That was basically my long, rambling opinion on Snow White. I really Amore her, she's fourth on my list, and I hope I did her justice in this. I Amore Snow White's multi-faceted personality, her determination, her manipulative and bossy side, her generous and sweet side, all of it! So, yeah. I hope te enjoyed the article.

 The End!
The End!
♥ Please note: I did not just think of looks, I only chose actors/actresses who have impressed me with their screen-presence and charisma. Some of them are choices that don't necessarily look the part as much as alternative choices, but these casting decisions would be the most successful and intriguing to me personally. My choices were based on a blend of recitazione skills, appearance, voice, and current age in 2011. ♥

Gabriella Wilde as AURORA

Tom Welling as ERIC

Avan Jogia as ALADDIN

Shay Mitchell as POCAHONTAS

Nina Dobrev as BELLE

Welcome to my secondo Mary Sue Test! This is for Anna. I'll be doing one for Elsa next.

Dungeons & Draghi (or D&D for short) is a super fun tavolo, ripiano del tavolo roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend te give it a try if te ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my preferito hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

Remember those great romantic moments that were imbued with pure Disney magic and have since become timeless keepsakes: how we got to experience Amore at 1st sight with Cenerentola as she waltzed away with Prince Charming into a blessed starry nightscape; the anticipation we held on to when Prince Eric leaned in to baciare Ariel as they floated along a spellbinding lagoon; the way Lady's eyes gleamed under the Bella Notte as Tramp gazed into them over a candlelit spaghetti cena for two; how our breathes were taken as Eugene finally saw Rapunzel surrounded da the lanterns of her dreams on Corona's...

I doubt if this articolo belongs here but since we have similiar lists for Esmeralda and Meg, I decided to pubblica it here. Here is preferito DP lista I believe princess Mei from Mulan II would have. Mei highly values romance and also admires people with Ribelle - The Brave and rebellious personality.
P.S. I am planning to do the same lists for Ting-Ting and Su but these are going to be più difficult to make.

11. Tiana

I am sure that Tiana would be Mei's absolute least preferito DP. Mei would see Tiana as boring, narrow-minded, unromantic, overly rational, materalistic, unadventurous and pig-headed workacholic....

Everyone has their personal ranking of their preferito Disney Princessess n thoughts of who should b included. In my eyes, this is the ranking of the maidens from the house of mouse:

15. Aurora, indeed the sleeping beauty is beautiful, elegant, n has a heavenly opera voice, unfortunately she has little agency in her own story n personality.

14. Anna, a spunky n cute go getter but most of the other princesses that have come before her have these traits checked off too.

13. Moana, a real cookie cutter of a modern Disney princess, she is pretty much just an ethnic variation of Anna but is ahead one...

Pocahontas is one of those Disney films that, despite being middle-of-the-road for me, I have to rewatch fairly often. Something about this movie intrigues me. Maybe it's because I want to like the movie più than I currently do and understand why some fan revere it. I might not be there quite yet after this most recente rewatch, but I'm narrowing in on what specific things I like and dislike about the film. Now's the time to share those thoughts.

Praises
1) The backgrounds in this movie aren't just beautiful. THEY'RE GORGEOUS. The subtle lines, the designs, and especially the rich colori are...

I don't really like Lindsay Ellis at all but I never thought I'd see the giorno where I agree with her on something and she'd have a video that perfectly sums up my issues with Disney in recente years.

I was watching her Beauty and the Beast 2017 review and she was basically complaining about how years of whiny, nitpicky nobodies on the internet like te and me going on and on about "stereotype" this and "problematic" that regarding Disney Film has pretty much resulted in the hot culo messes modern Disney films are today. How the BatB remake is a terrible adaptation of the OG film and it's contribution...

Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's Rapunzel - L'intreccio della torre Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!). The film sees Rapunzel adjusting to life in Corona and introduces several concepts that the rest of the series will explore: Rapunzel's golden hair growing back, the growth of magical spiky rocks that can devastate Corona, foes with a thirst for revenge, Rapunzel and Eugene's marriage, and Rapunzel learning how to become a good queen.

At first, I was surprised that Tangled was getting a TV show. Even though I quite...
