I got the idea from KataraLover's articolo with a similar name. I actually made a sondaggio about this, but since Frozen was added I decided I may as well do it again, but I decided to write an articolo instead.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
 I'm Wishing/One Song
I'm Wishing/One Song

I just really like the animazione in this scene and how Snow and the Prince meet is really cute! The voice of Snow White is kind of annoying to me, but in this song I like it. The Prince actually has a great voice. I really like this one French version of Snow White cause her voice is just beautiful in this song. Here's the link: link

Cenerentola
A Dream is a Wish Your cuore Makes
A Dream is a Wish Your cuore Makes

When I made my poll, my preferito song was Sing Sweet Nightingale, but I thought about it and realized that A Dream is a Wish Your cuore Makes is a better song with a great message. Plus, I Amore Cenerentola with braided pigtails. I think she looks best like that!

Sleeping Beauty
 I Wonder
I Wonder

The way she sings this song is so beautiful! Also, a Fanpopper mentioned something quite interesting with this song. They detto that this song shows Aurora intelligence because she thinks philosophically. I never thought about that way so it was interesting and makes me like this song more.

The Little Mermaid
 Poor Unfortunate Souls
Poor Unfortunate Souls

Not only is this my preferito song from the movie its also my preferito part of The Little Mermaid. Did te know the person who played as Ursula is not a professional voice actress? She did such an amazing job! The scene with Ariel losing her voice is just breathtaking and her vocals are unworldly.

Beauty and the Beast
 Belle (Reprise)
Belle (Reprise)

I know most people choose the song Beauty and the Beast from this movie, but to be honest I don't really like this song. Belle's reprise is sweet and beautiful and describes her character più than any song in the movie.

Aladdin
 A Whole New World
A Whole New World

This should come as no surprise! I Amore this song. Its such a beautiful duet with amazing scenery and visuals.

Pocahontas
 colori of the Wind
Colors of the Wind

Again no surprise here! This song has a great message and with stunning and powerful visuals

Mulan
 Reflection
Reflection

I had a hard time choosing between this song and I'll Make a Man Out of You. However, this song is più relate-able to me because I am a daughter and I do try to please my family. I strongly dislike it when I disappoint them o make them unhappy.

Princess and the Frog
 Friends on the Other Side
Friends on the Other Side

I just Amore this part of the movie. Friends on the Other Side is kinda like Poor Unfortunate Souls which is why I like it so much.

Tangled
 Healing Incantation
Healing Incantation

This song is hauntingly beautiful! I Amore this twist on Rapunzel. Giving her healing powers is just so cool.

Frozen
For the First Time In Forever (Reprise)
For the First Time In Forever (Reprise)

I know people are gonna be like "What! Let It Go isn't your preferito song?" And well sorry, but it isn't. It's actually my third preferito song from the movie. So why did I choose the reprise? I like it because it mostra cases both of the princesses voices plus this scene is pretty important to the movie.

Many people think Mulan (the movie) has the best Citazioni of all princess movie, that and the fact it is Mulan mese gave me idea to start such countdown. In the beginning, there were about 70 Citazioni I thought are important , I included about 40 in countdown and here are the best ten.

Out of these ten:
2 are from Shang
2 are from Fa Zhou
2 are from Emperor
and 4 are from Mulan

10. "Ping, te are the craziest man I've ever met, and for that I owe te my life. From now on, te have my trust" by Shang

This is detto after Mulan saved Shang and finally earned honor and respect for her deeds.However...

Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the Disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the precedente two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the successivo Disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform that this articolo is completely my personal option. There is absolutely no need to have a hissy fit if my opinion doesn’t conform to yours. Feel free to commento what your own ranking is if te wish. Anyways, let’s get on with this ranking.

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain te a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in cabina #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to cabina #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

People complaining about Naomi being cast as gelsomino because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If te want a version of Aladdin with gelsomino being played da a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

A fair number of Disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature Disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade fa just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

DVD Features

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to mostra how Cenerentola and the prince fell in Amore with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

 The good ol' baddies
The good ol' baddies
Well, it's time for another articolo here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another articolo again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about Disney villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the Disney villains più than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old domanda postato from a anno fa that inspired me to write this. The domanda was about which Disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope te guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this articolo ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in popolare culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

This was reposted due to an unwanted and frankly annoying troll spamming my last article

Over the years, I've noticed that people really HATE Aurora in Keys To The Kingdom from Disney Princess Come d’incanto Tales: Follow Your Dreams. I've honestly never understood the hate she received, mainly because no one ever freaking EXPLAINS it! I've always asked and they just say "SHE SUCKS," o "SHE'S A GIRLY STEREOTYPE," o "SHE HAS A POP VOICE," and all that but they don't EXPLAIN! The reason this version of Aurora is so hated is even less explained than the plot holes in Frozen. First of all, Enchanted...
