Bonjour!
How is everyone today?
Anyway some of te might know/remember that I am currently conducting a series of sondaggi in order to eliminate every DP First Encounter to find out which one is the best. We're currently up to the superiore, in alto four, but I shall do the bottom half today and let te know the superiore, in alto five when it's all ready.
I define first encounter as when the couple first communicate with each other and are face to face, therefore when Ariel sees Eric on the barca dancing with Max, I did not count that one and instead counted the encounter she had with him in Part of your World Reprise.
So when they were actually together, and met each other together.
I hope this makes sense and is acceptable.
(By the way, there are only eleven encounters... because there were only eleven couples including Anna, therefore Merida and Elsa will not be included.)
Also these opinions are not my own, however I might say if whether o not I agree with them.
Hope te don't mind if I use your quotes!!!
:)

11. Anna and Kristoff
"Yoohoo, Big Summer Blowout!"
(42 people voted in this round, this choice got 38% of the voti [roughly 16 people].)

I can say I wasn't surprised da the first eliminated choice. Most found it awkward, not funny, and even stupid. Frozen is getting più and più unpopular (on Fanpop), and it seems this was one of the scenes that people disliked.
I agree with this choice; it would probably be my last choice as well. It was definitely awkward and a little bit silly, and just... strange. It wasn't memorable. I don't know.

It left me cold.
(... HA! OMG, no pun intended! XD)
- Tygers_Eye
One of my least favourite scenes. It didn't make me laugh like the two predecessors. At that time, Anna is too talkative and Kristoff is too grumpy. I also don't like Oaken and his place. I even prefer Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People scene. - 3xZ
So boring, not romantic and in a ugly place -_- - Asabala2

10. Pocahontas and John Smith
"John's Hesitation"
(33 people voted this round and this choice got 36% of the votes, roughly 12 people)

I was kind of surprised that this scene left quite quickly; I found it pretty intense and emotional even through the lack of dialogue which i thought made it più powerful, but like the precedente one it didn't seem to be memorable, entertaining, and it could have damaged Pocahontas' health... severely.

So superficial. At first te could say it was endearing, but the only reason he stops is because, well, she's sort of hot, again having a gun pointed at your face isn't really the ideal way of meeting someone. It seems so shallow, like the water they are standing in. - BelleRose829

And BelleRose seemed to be the only person who commented...

9. Belle and the Beast
"Belle takes her Father's Place"
(35 fan voted this round and 31% of the voti went to this choice, about 11 people)

This scene wasn't exactly incredibly romantic, I mean, the guy just threw her father into prison and then agreed to imprison her instead, while not letting her say goodbye to her dad while he left in that... thing. Not a promising way to start a relationship. A lot of people agreed also that it was dark, tense, sad and even scary.

It's just a really sad, scary scene, and that isn't what I want in a Disney Princess encounter. - misscindyspice
Not a very good start for Belle. I mean, she gave up her life and meets a hideous beast that terrifies her. It's not romantic at all, just sad. - fanlovver
Pretty dark and tense... - ajotma

8. Tiana and Naveen
"The Big Smooch"
(29 people voted this round, and 31% voted this choice, roughly 9 people)

Um, yeah. I wasn't very impressed with this scene, but I'm trying to keep my opinions out of it. Lots of people agreed it was disgusting and weird, as well as unfunny and awkward, of course.
It just occurred to me that Tiana was very quick to baciare her prince, I mean, it wasn't the special, magical baciare that every princess waits for, (and she did end up getting that) but she still kissed him.

This...just felt like filler to me. To make matters worse, it showed me Tiana's nasty side. I grew to dislike her più and più after this first scene with Naveen. Naveen is a jerk, no doubt about it, but he is più relate-able for not having it all together, and displaying "bounce" when things in his life take a turn for the worse. Naveen keeps his positive demeanor intact. It gradually became obvious that Tiana was one of those self-absorbed types who---- if everything is going their way, they are kind and sweet---- but should things not go their way--- they turn really aspro, acida and nasty to the people around them. - iwasneverhere
It was GROSS. - 324anna
Definitely. I just think it felt weird compared to the others. - avatar_tia_fan

7. Snow White and the Prince
"Snow White's Castle"
(54 people voted this round with 26% (14 people) of voti choosing this... choice.)

Aw, I loved this one. This one is one of my favourites, it's so romantic and cute.
And apparently creepy and stalker-like.
Some people even claimed it was cliche...
Cliche means over-used. How could it be cliche if Snow White was the first Disney Princess, in the first ever animated full-length film? I mean, it's probably cliche to us now, but not when it was made.

It's so creepy! I don't like "I'm Wishing" as a song, and I hate how the prince just jumps over her fence and starts doing a bad impression of Romeo Montague. - audreybrooke
Though it's sweet, it's just very sudden. I find the same suddenness in the scene with Cindy and Charming at the ball, and Aurora and Phillip. They're all sweet, but some kind of "substance" is missing in the first encounter. I kind of like Film where the prince and princess take più time to acknowledge their feelings. - iwasneverhere
tooo stalker like - BKG201

6. Cenerentola and Prince Charming
"The Ball"
(40 fan voted this round with 35% voting this choice, 14 people)

I kind of liked this one too. It was romantic and dreamy and we felt good for Cinderella, however most people claimed it was simple, boring, and cliche again. They detto nothing really happens; they just dance and smile etc, they don't really talk o get to know each other at all. The Prince stupidly forgot to even ask what her name was.

It's too plain and boring. Nothing special. - manu962
So boring, even though it's a classic, it's nothing special - loveclub4
Nothing really happens between them. - fluffyduckling

So there te have it! Was your favourite on here? I apologise if it was... :(
Stay tuned for the superiore, in alto five, which should be up when I've finished conducting the questionnaires. If te would like to take part in the most recente one and keep your favourite encounter in there, te can follow the link link
Hope te enjoyed it and have a lovely day!!!
Merci et au revoir!

P.S. Should I do a similar thing like this, but with the endings instead?
Dungeons & Draghi (or D&D for short) is a super fun tavolo, ripiano del tavolo roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend te give it a try if te ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my preferito hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

carlotta, charlotte
Charlotte
carlotta, charlotte La Bouff was one of many characters in the movie The Princess and the Frog. carlotta, charlotte was as wonderful as Tiana, and she really deserves to be analyzed.

Characteristics

Unlike Tiana, carlotta, charlotte was a slightly spoiled and funny girl, crazy. carlotta, charlotte was very romantic, which I usually don't like, but the crazy and confident gestures she displayed during the romance were enough to cover it up. Charlotte's father, Mr. La Bouff, spoiled her and did whatever she wanted because they were rich. carlotta, charlotte grew up believing in fairy tales and true love, and she was confident that one giorno love...

I wrote this articolo years fa for the first ten princesses but now with Beyonce's recente contribution to the Disney family in the 2019 Lion King, I figured it was a good time as any to do an updated lista with the twelve current official princesses. I decided to add Esmeralda, Megara, Anna, and Elsa too! We just take a look through the Queen Bee's singles and see which one fits each princess based on the title, lyrics, Musica video and general feel of the song.

Do te know what's funny? Even though she's all about female empowerment and women being independent, Beyonce's just like virtually every...

Hello all! Many apologies for running a bit behind on this one. The holidays are always chaos incarnate.

Cinderella was our Princess of the mese for December, and here is a collection of thoughts on why we adore her. Many thanks to those who inviato comments!

I absolutely Amore when Cindy's snarky side peeks through, like when she makes a quip about the "music lesson". It's adorable but also rounds out her character. <3 ~MaidofOrleans

She teaches me to DREAM BIG!!! ~deedragongirl

She is kind, hard-working, and a princess from my childhood that I still Amore today. ~LMH5113

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong o effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green fuoco is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

I'm actually looking inoltrare, avanti to watching this a little più than I did when I had to watch Maleficent. This remake may not live up to the standards of the original but personally it's always been enjoyable to watch.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The first time I watched Cenerentola I did like it and there were some changes I liked but then there were some changes I really had to question. Even with the problems I have with this movie I still like to watch it every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Since the...

This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking inoltrare, avanti to watching this one.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did...

Here's the articolo for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made commenti about how I don't like this movie because it's been detto that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also detto I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now te should all know what I write about in these articoli so I'll just go ahead and start!

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as te can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field giorno with it. Personally, the più research I did on the situation around this film, the più I was actually fascinated da it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot più nuanced than te think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, te can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending o critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide...
