This was the solo gelsomino was originally going to sing in Aladdin. It is included in the Broadway adaptation <3.

"Call Me A Princess" is a song intended to be sung da Princess gelsomino in Aladdin. In her early development she was supposed to be a typical, spoiled, bratty princess, and this song focused in on that. The developers scrapped the idea along with this song to make gelsomino the headstrong, compassionate woman we know today. If this song wasn't deleted it would have been the first solo song sung da Jasmine, but now that titolo belongs to the song I've Got My Eyes on You.

The song was resurfaced in 2011 for the Aladdin musical, though the story behind the song has changed. Instead of gelsomino being a spoiled brat, the song was used da the princess to scare off suitors.

Call me a princess, I don't care
Call me obsessed with nails and hair
Only concerned with what to wear
Shallow and so blase

Go ahead, call me "royal pain"
I'm unimpressed with your disdain
Let me repeat one sweet refrain
Princesses get their way

Other girls cook, but that's not relaxing
Princesses make reservations
Life's much too short and Lord, it's so taxing
Ruling these darn Third World nations

Some say that when I nag a whine
Nobody's voice is as shrill as mine
Daddy thinks that I sound just fine
He's in my royal sway
Other girls study, why do they bother?
I study how to grease up my father
Fathers were born to pay
And princesses get their way

Call me a princess, I don't mind
Selfish disgrace to womankind
People need hobbies - I unwind
Watching how much I weigh

Other girls work for law degrees
Some scrub the floor on hands and knees
I'd rather have a facial, please
Slather her face in clay

Soon I'll get married - what could be sweeter?
To some Salim o Abdullah
Whoever he is, the two things he'll need are
Earplugs and plenty of moola

Princesses write a check - it clears
That's 'cause they spend those wonder years
Running to Dad and faking tears
Training him to obey
Fresh outta cash? No problem, I drop a
Snit and go running straight to my papa
Then everything's okay
Princesses get their way
Believe it
Princesses get their way

So sorry this took SO long!!

Female characters today are a far cry from the demure, lady-like heroines of the Classic Age of Disney. They are allowed to wield weapons, they are allowed to lead rebellions, they are allowed to be the brains of the operation. But on the other hand, have we really shed the need to fit every character into a preconceived ideal? Really, I’d say the female characters of today are every bit as idealized as those of the pre-Civil Rights era, simply reflecting our ideals of our modern society, juggling a career, relationship (or entirely rejecting one,)...

An argument that I often hear against Aurora is that she doesn't have many flaws o that they aren't shown very prominently. I've been thinking about it for a while, and decided to compile this lista together of Aurora's flaws. I hope te all enjoy, and as te know this is in no way to bash Aurora, she's my favorite, it's to mostra that she's più dimensional and flawed than some think.

Aurora Is A Pessimist

The first flaw of Aurora is her pessimism. Think about it, when getting the news that she was a princess, instead of jumping for joy like an optimist would do, she cries about it. Instead...

Okay, this is da far the EASIEST list- WAAAYY easier than my link. I change my mind ALL the time but I think I can be content with this list. Let me just kick if off and say that NONE of them are ugly.. some are just prettier than others. :-P Now, let's get on with it...

10. Rapunzel
Okay, I think that her eyes are so MASSIVE! Also her head is too big for her body. Unless she has a REGULAR head but a SMALL body? o.O She looks so young- maybe 13?- she definitely does not look 18. On the bright side, she'll Amore it when she's older! She looks cute and pretty in half the scenes, the others...

[i]- The Film are definitely better than the ones from that Chicken-Little era. And they are making money in the theaters after a long period of box-office failure, just like with the Renaissance.

- I guess so. Revival is a good term for it I think.

- I personally believe it started after Bolt because every film that just came out has been amazing. They all have the Disney Feeling o the Walt Disney Feel to it. The Princess and the Frog was amazing but lame reasons didn't make a lot of money. Rapunzel - L'intreccio della torre really pulled it through and was also great. Wreak it Ralph and Frozen were also great. But...
