12. Ariel's white rags

It's no surprise that this outfit was the first eliminated, since it's literally a makeshift dress constructed from a tattered sail she found on the beach. Very innovative on Ariel's part, but unfortunately it's not the most flattering look.

11. Merida's white sleepwear

There's not much to say about this outfit, since it only shows up very briefly in one scene and we can really only see its neckline. It's tough to form an opinion on it because of that, so fan voted it out.

10. Merida's white underclothes

Aw, I kind of like the way this outfit looks. I find corsets very interesting since there are so many different kinds throughout history and they served many different purposes. Users didn't like the way this outfit looked on Merida, and some were annoyed that the corset wasn't accurate to this time period.



To me, Mulan's underclothes, though nothing special, at least look nice. Merida's white underclothes are drab in comparison and don't look good on her. ~ApplesauceDoctr

I think it was supposed to be symbolic but it's really so anachronistic that there's no excuse for its inclusion. I've actually heard that most of Merida's clothing doesn't fit the time period. ~jeangreyforever

9. Mulan's white and grey sleepwear

This outfit is incredibly plain and boring, so it's no wonder that it would be the successivo to leave. I think it looks rather comfy, but that wasn't enough to save it from elimination.

8. Mulan's white underclothes

After voting for this outfit for several rounds I was glad to see it go. It's very plain and shapeless, and not really something one would wear out in public. Users mostly agreed.

7. Ariel's white wedding dress

This wedding dress is rather famous for its overly puffed sleeves, and unfortunately that was enough to knock it out of the running this round. The sleeves were the main issue people took with this dress since nothing else about it seemed to bother people. I used to abhor the sleeves when I was little (I always thought that Ariel and Vanessa should have switched wedding dresses), but I don't mind them so much now. I still think this was a good time for this dress to get voted out though since I prefer all the rest of the outfits.



Of all the remaining, this is my least favorite. I like the complessivamente, generale design except for those overly puffed sleeves. If it wasn't as huge as balloons, it would have been one of my favorites. ~anukriti2409

6. Merida's black dress

Aw man, I really Amore this dress. It left far too soon in my opinion. It's too bad that she only wears this dress for such a short time in the film because it's pretty cool. It has an amazing orso embroidery along the hem which is difficult to see since there are very few good screencaps of this dress. It's pretty awesome though! Sadly, fan didn't agree.

5. Tiana's white and green wedding dress

I'm so sad this one got voted out. I think it's da far the most beautiful wedding dress any DP wears. I Amore the way it drapes around her, and the X design accentuates her already gorgeous figure. I do think the color could have been better for her (maybe a purer white and a darker green?), but I still think it's amazing. fan didn't agree though.

4. Cinderella's white wedding dress

fan agreed that, while this dress is nice, it is unfortunately very plain. Nothing about it really stands out, and the rest of the dresses left were più interesting and beautiful.

3. Tiana's white dress

It's really a shame to see this dress leave the countdown. It is my number one preferito DP dress. Some may see it as plain, but I adore the little bit of sparkle that the oro straps add and the elegance of the draped back that is unfortunately only seen in a single shot. I'm not normally a fan of slit skirts, but Tiana pulls it off beautifully, plus it makes the gonna billow out around her. I think the feather boa is absolutely fabulous as well! I really wish she spent più time in this dress because it's simply divine.



I think that the boa is a bit too poofy and makes the whole outfit look weird. ~owleyes1316

2. Aurora's grey and black dress

This dress has a lot of fan on here, including myself, but not quite enough to get it to first place. Users loved the elegance and simplicity of this outfit, as well as the neutral color scheme. The shades of grey used are soft and lovely, just like Aurora herself.

i just Amore Aurora's dress. It's my preferito of all DP dresses. It's chic and elegant at the same time. The high collare camicetta with black corset and grey pleated skirt, it's a beautiful monochrome color combination. I can definitely wear this with amazing classic black pumps. Cinderella's dress while classic is just not fashionable enough. i find the poofs on her gown's waist weird. I Amore the color though. ~anukriti2409

1. Cinderella's silver and white ballgown

Unsurprisingly, the most iconic Disney Princess dress won this poll. Users loved its style, color, sparkle, and elegance. It really is a gorgeous and classic dress that deserves the superiore, in alto spot in this countdown. This dress will continue on to the culminating countdown that will ultimately determine Fanpop's preferito DP dress.

This dress is just phenomenal. The color, the sparks, it's just breathtaking and magical. Especially the sparkles. It's so easy to make sparkles look tacky but here they made them so elegant and classy. No wonder this dress was Walt Disney's preferito animation. I also like the shape of the dress, the long gloves, the poofy skirt, the headband and the choker. Of course, I Amore Aurora's dress. I have a thing for peasant dresses. They have character and tell a story. They are living history and nostalgic. They have a charm of simplicity. It's ineffable. I especially Amore Aurora's peasant dress, even più so than her formal dress, and the color combination is just gorgeous, soothing and pleasant. But as much as I adore Aurora's dress, Cindy's glamorous look can't be beat. These two dresses are two of my absolute preferiti in the DP line, and it's so good to see that they get their deserved spots on top. ~disnerdtobe
