Thanks guys! To give an update, I made the first trip successfully, and was allowed drive to the pub later on that evening.

I did not drink, just to mention it, because drinking and driving is wrong.

I also drove my friend home after the pub and she said I was a good driver.

I haven't crashed and/ or broken the car in any way so far.
