I can't help but notice lately that a lot of people have been creating Verified fanpop Accounts. At first, I thought it was some kind of program fanpop put in order. Then I realized that it's just another way that people are faking 'celebrity accounts.'

But, real o not, it's actually a really cool thing to do to your profile! And it's really easy, so anybody can do it!

OK, everybody, let's all just take some deep breaths. I've been looking at commenti within the last half ora about the new fanpop layout that has thrown all of us for a loop.

There was a similar outcry of disbelief over, what I am choosing to call, the link. I am here Scrivere this to gather everyone's collective panic and misgivings into one place, as well as to try and look at the positives of these recente changes, in an attempt to placate some of your fears.

Ah props. They used to be a way to acknowledge on a peer to peer level that someone has postato something good. Back in my giorno we used to give props if someone postato a good video, o detto something intelligent but now they're thrown out like...condoms in high schools? *shrugs*

What are props?
Props are small medaglie that te can give to other users if te see them post something good.
eg; User_X posts a good video, User_Y gives User_X a video prop!

Recently i finally found how to screencap a page on the internet. I had been looking for ages and finally i found out how to.Naturally i was very pleased and was waiting for a chance to use it.
Days went by,days turned into weeks and after a mese and a half i found nothing. For the times i had been on fanpop i had read the funniest, silliest things in spots and now that i could finally share them ,everyone became sensible?
After my long wait i got a message, but it wasn't what i was hoping for. I was expecting...

This is a little game I made up just because I was bored. I enjoy it, so I figured I’d share it.
Just a warning: This game is only fun if there’s a spot you’ve added a lot of immagini to, but enough have been added da other people to make it challenging.

So, the object of the game is to... get lots of points? And to encourage proper image etiquette.

The Fanwhore: Have te ever been added da someone, and then when te went to their profilo to possibly add them back, saw only posts with things like "Thanks for the add!" as far as the eye could see? Congrats, you've just met a Fanwhore. This person is pretty much just obsessed with getting fans. They can spend hours adding people, and will usually add back anyone who adds them. They tend to have obscenely large numbers of fans, and to get them obscenely fast. Can go ballistic if they haven't gained at least five new fan in the last hour.

Nobody likes it when others ruin their fun da telling them the end of the story. Some people just aren't as caught up with others because they're busy o haven't gotten around to it. Lately I have noticed a swell in the amount of inappropriate comments. commenti that have sexual innuendo, are hurtful, o are just plain gross, and most of the time they have nothing to do with the topic at hand. What I fail to grasp is why people feel like they need to do this. I can't understand why they can't control themselves and write something appropriate o nothing at all. Is it a lack of sense of humor? Do they not realize that people spend a lot of time contributing to this site and a commento like that can make all their efforts feel wasted? o do they not...

I have had technology since I was three. Playing link and link on my SNES against/with my family (parents included!) were part of my childhood. I came onto the internet when I was around eleven, still fueled da a need for technology, rarely seen without my Gameboy and link in it. Lately, the crediting dibattito has been raging like a teenagers hormones around our little world of Fanpop. Some of us have strong opinions. Others of us don't give a crapsicle about crediting. So, I thought I would have a big long rant about the topic, satisfying my own need to yell my opinions at people while procrastinating starting an incredibly boring università assignment.
