So you've stumbled upon fanpop because te were Googling o clicked on a link somewhere. The successivo thing te know te start joining a few spots that you're a fan of...then più spots...and even più spots. For spots te can't find, te might even start creating new spots. Then te start adding videos, immagini and links to spots. te discover Picks and can't stop answering domande in all your spots (and even some spots that you're not even a fan of!). te start making picks and even Scrivere soapbox articles. All of the sudden people are adding te as a fan and you're earning medaglie and getting...

So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where te were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. I am, of course, talking about unity. No, not unity against a 'common enemy' o a 'troll' as many people on the internet assume is unity, but genuine "I can just click something to make someone feel a little better" kind of unity.

Yep, they do!

As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick o writes a commento it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean commenti about how either their domanda is stupid o even how stupid the person is for making a pick. I have been waiting all giorno to find out the results of the Fanpoppies. I was refreshing every 10 minuti just to see if the results had been posted. After awhile I decided to go out to lunch with some Friends (sushi yum). Little did I know that at home a great horror awaited me. fanpop was dead!
First there was anger and then tears. I had no idea what to do. The horrible truth...

Putting A Face To The Username's

Im on fanpop everyday now, (like loads of other user's....im addicted!) I feel i have made a load of new friends, some a lot younger than me, some my own age and some slightly older. I would really like it if we could all use our own pictures as our icon's for a week o so as i would Amore to put a face to all the username's. I know a lot of te do use your own picture so this is just for the people like me who don't.

While im here i would like to say a huge thank te to Dave, Papa, Micheal and Cliff for all your hard work and giving us an amazing website to visit everyday!

Will also thank all te user's.....Cressida, Kathiria, Megloveskyle, Harold, DrDevience, Benji and so many più of you! te guys rock and make fanpop such a good place to be! :)
