Here’s your guide to everything Game of Thrones at the San Diego Comic-Con 

The 2015 San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) opens its doors tomorrow, Thursday July 9, and some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names will be in attendance. At SDCC, there is no bigger stage than Hall H. All the giants of the entertainment world hold court there, from Marvel Studios (which has bowed out this year in favor of

D23), Warner Bros. (the studio behind the DC Comics movies), to Lucasfilm and

joins the crème de la crème in Hall H, where the cast of the show will take center stage in front of what is sure to be a record-breaking crowd.  The

Panel will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. PDT on Friday, July 10. Here’re the actors who will be in attendance:

The only director on hand will be David Nutter, who directed the Season 5 finale (he won’t be directing any episodes for Season 6). The most notable absence from this year’s panel, besides arguably Kit Harington, is George R.R. Martin, who has decided to stay home and continue work on

The San Diego Comic Con is normally where the director on hand reveals and introduces the new cast for Season 6. Last year at this time, we were introduced to the entire cast of Dorne, as well as to Jonathan Pryce (the High Sparrow), Nell Tiger Free (a recast Myrcella Baratheon), and Enzo Cilenti (a skinny Yezzan

I fully expect the bulk of the fan questions to center around the death of Jon Snow. Kit Harington won’t be in attendance, so the other cast members and David Nutter will have to carefully dance around the topic. Do not expect to hear anything definitive in the way of Kit’s return for Season 6. Also, with the entire Dorne cast absent from SDCC, some hard questions may be thrown at Nutter regarding the clunky Dornish storyline in Season 5, and how the production plans on rectifying the situation.

presence at SDCC 2015. Over at Booth #2729, McFarlane Toys plans to unveil their new line of constructible figures and scenes from the show. The company will be giving away pins to the first 2,000 fans who stop by.

Dark Horse Comics and Collectible memorabilia will be there as well, at Booth #2615. The company will put on display a mini-replica of King Robert Baratheon’s crown. There will be 400 limited edition crows available. They’ll go for $60.00 with a limit of two crowns per person, per day. These will most definitely be a popular item for

collectors, especially with a limited run involved, so expect to see these pop-up on eBay, with the price drastically marked up, in the very near future.

Dark Horse will also be showing some new products in its successful line of

 collectibles, including a Weirwood Tree Snow Globe ($99.99), and a Map Markers Set ($199.99) based on the one Robb Stark used to plan the movements of his army in earlier seasons. Finally, Dark Horse will introduce several new releases in its wildly popular figure line, including figures modeled after the three Lannister siblings (Jamie, Cersei and Tyrion), as well as ones for Robb and Arya Stark, plus a White Walker. Each figure will retail for $24.99.

HBO, meanwhile, will bring its very own pop-up shop to SDCC 2015. The shop will be open on Market St & 8th Avenue in San Diego at these times:

At Booth #2944, Attendees will be able to purchase a detailed White Walker mask, pictured above, that will scare the bezeezus out of your significant Other (pun intended). Those who are truly dedicated can buy a complete White Walker costume, assuming they have the cash. The masks range in price from $640 to $1,590, and it costs $1,300 to $2,960 for a complete set.

This Tyrion Lannister figure will be located at Booth #2401 and will be on sale for the hefty price of  $130. The model features full articulation and is based on the character as he appeared in Seasons 1 and 2, so no scar.

fans can stop by Booth #1515 and buy the official Dothraki language book (or at least pre-order the book ahead of its October release). While there, they can test their Dothraki linguistic skills for prizes, and meet acclaimed language and culture consultant David J. Peterson, who developed the language for HBO and created the Living Language course.
