Pics: A certain Night’s Watchman spotted at the £80,000 Season 6 avvolgere party 

Season 6 held a wrap party at the Ulster Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Per

, the party cost a cool £80,000 to throw (around $118,686). “Everybody was very well looked after,” a source told the publication. “Anybody involved in the series was invited along, and they were given jackets as keepsakes.”

That jacket will shield you from the cold in style.

Apparently “anybody” included cast members whose character may or may not have been killed in the fifth season finale. Kit Harington was there, is what I’m saying, at least if these images from the party can be believed.

And here are a couple of closer shots—look behind the revelers in the foreground at the gentleman in the background, the one wearing glasses and a white sweater.

These images jibe with another report that Harington was indeed in attendance, and were originally posted to the Facebook account of a

stagehand. A few people have questioned whether these images might be the work of a Photoshop artist, but I doubt it. The person who uploaded them has previously posted pictures of himself with the likes of Liam Cunningham, Gwendoline Christie, and Iwan Rheon, and I don’t see much reason to doubt his access to the wrap party.

Anyway, at this point it doesn’t particularly matter. Whether Harington was there or not, all the spoilers from the off-season more or less guarantee that we’ll see Jon Snow again in Season 6. And even in the unlikely event that those spoilers turn out to be an elaborate ruse, it’s not hard to believe that Harington would be invited to the wrap party anyway. He 

heavily involved with the production for five years, after all.

Even for those of us who knew this day was foretold back in 2011 when A Dance with Dragons came...

Bit short. Couldn’t wear heels if you were out with him. Deal breaker.

I’m always (okay, sometimes) fascinated by short actors who don’t look it onscreen. I just now read that Harington is 5’8”, but I wouldn’t have guessed it from watching the show.

Feel bad for short male actors. They must have fans comment on it all the time. Still, he can certainly wield his sword with a heafty stroke, so let’s forgive him. 😉

He looks short to me on the show as well…. I guess tormund is more the height I prefer.

I can’t say if it’s photoshopped or not but ever time I hear about short actors I thinkabout a quote from Amy Schumer when she’s talking about Kayne and Kim. She says “there they were… looking all short and important.”

I’ve also heard that short people tend to have more defined or dramatic facial features, which plays better on screen for whatever reason. Although that’s probably bologna. Unless someone else has heard something similar.

There must be some truth to that. I seen a list somewhere of short actors; I was surprised how long it was. There were a couple game of thrones actors on it… obviously Peter dinklage, Alfie allen, gendry (I don’t remember his real name). Did you know prince is only 5’2″? That’s crazy to me!

I’ve heard other people say that, about Kit appearing dull. Maybe he’s an introvert and isn’t relaxed in the spotlight when it’s on a personal level. I read in an article something to the effect that he doesn’t want show watchers getting to know him too well because he’s afraid it’ll ruin the character he plays. He worried that it might be disappointing to them. I think he’s a private person who doesn’t enjoy having to do the promos and interviews etc. but he has since said he realizes it’s just another performance.

My hubby is 5’8″. I know he’s not real tall but I’ve never thought of him as short. Then again I’m only 5’3″ and a half and hardly ever wear more than a kitten heel so…but I wouldn’t prefer a guy who’s shorter than me, or too tall for that matter, hugs would be awkward :)

Short guys from the Sticks tend to drive BIG trucks and put loud pipes on their Hogs…. It’s all about compensation…. a la Napoleon Complex.

My father stands at 5’4″. A short, stocky Irishman. He’s always regaled us with stories of how bad-ass he was in his youth, an what a bad temper he had. I have no doubt it was either due to being teased, or he felt he had to prove himself. Oddly enough my brothers are pretty tall…mom and the mailman? :)

I could care less about his height. The man is FINE! Put him in a lineup of Men.. I would still choose Kit!

I agree. The height or size of anyone makes no difference. Kit is great in the role. I’ll take him exactly as he is thank you! Dinklage is incredible to. Do I have a Kit Crush? Oh yeah! I’m proud of it.

Laina, Have you watched any of the GOT Comic con panels on You tube? If not, start with the year 2011 and you’ll see newbie Kit looking like a deer caught in headlights half the time (either that or he had to smoke something to calm his nerves beforehand haha) His reaction when GRRM asks if he knows his poster is going up on the walls of thousands of girl’s rooms is adorable :)

Also I want to add that after seeing the Comic cons (I’m so jealous my co-worker actually went to some) I also adore Nickolaj. Seems like such a nice and unpretentious guy.

will look out for this (good escape option when the family gets too much over the next few days…). anything i’ve watched, pretty much without exception, has shown them all to be a really nice bunch who just feel so thrilled to be part of such a momentus show. whasser name that plays Mel, sometimes get the impression she needs to get over herself a little though….

I don’t remember seeing Carice Van Houten, so can’t opine. I do know that Natalie Dormer at the one panel seemed very, um, confident lol. I think of all the actresses on the show that I’ve seen outside their character so far Rose Leslie’s the one I like best.

Na 5’8 isn’t that short. But I don’t think he’s 5’8, unless that’s a party full of extraordinarily tall people.

Definitely not photoshopped. I live in N.Ireland and know 3 of the guys at the wrap party. Kit Harrington was definitely there :-)

5 foot 8 is not what I would call short. It’s sorta normal I think. Anyhoo, it would sorta be a little funny when kit has to film scenes with Gwen. That would sorta make him look short.

He’d have to film it 3 meters away like he does with Ghost! 😄

I’m 5ft 9 and I don’t consider myself short I don’t think I’ve ever really thought about it.I think it’s average if you are an English male.

I’m 155 cm or about 5 foot. I don’t consider myself short, except for the fact everybody keeps telling me I am! 😳😇
