I asked a domanda a bit fa asking what bothers te about Bella’s pregnancy. We got some very interesting answers, thank you. We are now here to respond to the points made.
(I’m going to be using words like penis and orgasm, so if te haven’t had a certain talk with your parents yet, te probably shouldn’t read this)

First, we’ll address te science of it.
How does Edward have sperm?
How does Edward get an erection?
If Edward the vampire's skin is always rock-hard anyway, does that mean he's just walking around with a constant erection?

SPERM

Blood is not used to produce sperm o semen, but the blood the Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. ingest helps with the production.

Sperm is composed of:
ascorbic acid (vitamin C, for tissue maintenance)
blood-group antigens (from immune system)
calcium (mineral)
chlorine (oxidizing agent)
cholesterol (steroid alcohol present in body fluids)
choline (base, part of the vitamin B complex)
citric acid (occurs during cellular metabolism)
creatine (nitrogenous substance found in muscle)
deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA – sugar and phosphate)
fructose (sugar used for energy)
glutathione (peptide amino acid)
hyaluronidase (enzyme)
inositol ( C6H12O6)
lactic acid (byproduct of muscle use)
magnesium (mineral)
nitrogen (gas found in all living tissue)
phosporus (mineral)
potassium (mineral)
purine (compound of uric acid)
pyrimidine (organic base)
pyruvic acid (formed from either glucose o glycogen)
sodium (salt)
sorbitol (body alcohol)
spermidine (catalytic enzyme) - ribosomes
spermine (ammonia compound found in sperm) -ribosomes
urea (from urine)
uric acid (from urine)
vitamin B12 (for proper function of nervous system and metabolism)
zinc (mineral)
Semen is made up of:
mostly water. Where do they get the water from? The blood they drink. It’s also a mixture of amino acids (proteins), minerals, carbohydrates (sugars)
Amino acids are collected from the Cibo te eat, and are composed of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen.
Carbon and oxygen can be taken from the carbon dioxide (CO2) in the blood they ingest.
Hydrogen can be gathered from the hydrogen ions.
There will be a lot of nitrogen in the blood because only half of it hasn’t been carried to the lungs yet. (Nitrogen just rides around in the blood stream until it reaches the lungs)

All of these, can be found in the blood of the animali Edward drinks. The ingredients are all there.

Semen if formed in the male gonags (testicals), which work because the brain is fed da the blood the drink. The brain controls everything in the body. Without blood in the brain, the body would not be able to function.

ERECTIONS

Erections are not needed to have sex. Erections only facilitate sex (makes it easier).
For an average guy, the penis is a soft organ. A guy can still orgasm and ejaculate. Having sex with a flacid penis (possible for those with ED) can be painful. The blood engorges the penis, protecting it from the all the wild action going on.
In Edward’s case, the penis is already hard, like the rest of his skin. Bella’s vagina couldn’t possibly hurt in.

Twilight Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. don’t have erections all the time because there is nothing inside of their penis preventing it from being flacid. It’s just the skin that is hard. Their arms and legs can sposta around, why not the penis?


The Moral issues.

People have stated that they don’t like how Bella got pregnant in her teen years, before receiving an education.
The main issues society has with teen pregnancy are:
*The effects it has on the futures of the parents (education)
*Finances/income
*Mentality (partying, drinking habbits)
*Mental capability
*Knowledge of childcare.

Many of these points don’t apply at all to Edward and Bella.
First of all, they did not create a new life intentionally. They didn’t even know it was possible, so there was no need for birth control. They weren’t a couple of irresponsible teenagers.
*Edward already has a lot of education. più education than any human needs. Bella knows she’s going to become a vampire. She has all the time in the world to go to college as many times as she desires.
*The Cullens are very wealthy. They’re not going to kick Edward out of the house because he got Bella pregnant. Neither of them really need a career, but they can obtain one easily, if they want to, just as Carlisle.
* I’m sure Edward grew out of the partying and drinking phase long ago. Bella never enteres that phase. They don’t feel the need to go out and be teenagers, so they’re not going to neglect their baby because one of their Friends is throwing a house party.
* &* The last two points are the only ones that may apply. None of the Cullens know what it is like to raise a baby. Esme may have a slight clue, but her baby dies very young, so she doesn’t have much experience.
But this does not apply to only teen parents, it applies to all first time parents. te learn as te go.
