Ok, so that was it. She knew she was going to meet him at the award mostra that day. She didn’t know how she would react after 3 months of being separated with him. No, she couldn’t think of it like that. They were broken up, not separated. She wondered if she was going to make it, sitting successivo to him for più than 3 hours, taking pictures together, smiling like nothing happened. No, she was not going to let anything ruin her day, the first nomination. She worked so hard to get it and when she did, she quit the mostra that got her that nomination. What an irony.
At least the press won’t be asking her about why she left. She gave an exclusive interview 2 months before just to make sure she was free to go. Just to make sure no one suspected anything. God, when she thought about the real reason she left the show, the one listed in the magazines was rather boring. “I left the mostra cause I thought there was no room for me to develop as an actress anymore. I always keep wanting più from myself, and when I can’t get that, I find another way of doing it and this time, it meant leaving the show.” Yeah, right. People are so ignorant. They will believe anything.
The nomination she got was for the secondo to last episode she shot. It was the most painful of all, it was the hardest one to shoot. Both the last episode and the one before that were about House and Cuddy and that involved having the great amount of scenes with the two of them. It was really the biggest quest in Lisa’s life, to shoot such scenes with the man she had just broke up with, the man who’s baby she was carrying, the man who’s baby she was about to get rid of soon after.
The memories from the set started coming back to her.
“ She came out of her dressing room and she immediately spotted him. God he looked handsome. Why did he have to make her feel like that about him? It just wasn’t fair.
David spotted Lisa as soon as she walked on set and headed to her direction. They met half way and David pulled her da her arm, making her come closer to him, making sure she was about to hear what he had to ask.
“Are te sure te can do this? Hundred percent sure?” he whispered making sure no one else but Lisa heard him. She nodded.
“Ok, lets do this.” Was the last thing he detto before going back to his seat.
Lisa took her position and so did Hugh.
“Take one, “Broken cart”, season 7 episode 12” exclaimed the director.
Cuddy was sitting in her office, face turned to the windows. A moment after there was a loud bang and she quickly turned to see House slamming the door.
“Are te out of your mind?” House yelled.
“You can’t come to my office like that and start yelling!” Cuddy responded.
“You can’t just leave!” House continued.
“I can and I will. It’s my decision.” Lisa choked as she realized just how much she and Cuddy were alike.
“I take back everything I said! You’re just gonna walk away like that?” House snapped, o was it Hugh? Hugh was afraid of how this seemed to be so similar to everything he wanted to say, but sadly didn’t have courage to.
“This isn’t going anywhere! We both know that. Just let me be happy. For once in your life just do what’s right, Hu… House.” Lisa froze as she realized what she almost said. Everyone paused for a secondo forming the awkward silence. David quickly got up and detto “Ok, let’s just do a repeat from the line when Cuddy says “This isn’t going anywhere”…” Everyone got back to whatever they were doing finishing the scene.”
Lisa took a deep breath before she was about to leave to have her hair done. It was her night, she promised herself not to ruin it. However, deep down in her cuore she knew she would.
