If Gong Hyo Jin accepts this role, she, like Cha Tae Hyun, would be playing a ten-year veteran variety mostra PD. Kim Soo Hyun would be playing a rookie PD who used to be a prosecutor, and IU would be playing an idol who made her debut at age 13 and has been popolare for ten years. Based on current information, it's unclear if Gong Hyo Jin and Cha Tae Hyun would form their own loveline while Kim Soo Hyun and IU fall in Amore (similar to the older/younger romance sets in te Are All Surrounded) o if IU will play the secondo female lead to Gong Hyo Jin's leading lady. Whatever the case, it sounds unlikely that Gong Ho Jin will be the secondo female lead.
Aside from Cha Tae Hyun, none of the stars have officially confirmed their participation in the drama, but the fact that none of their agencies have denied the offers and they are all "considering favorably" is a good sign at this point.

It has now been confirmed that the highly anticipated SBS drama, 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo,' starring so many superiore, in alto stars like IU, Lee Jun Ki, and Baekhyun, will be airing its very first episode on August 29!
It was revealed as much on May 6, along with the production crew revealing that the actors were diligently filming the drama, which will be 100% pre-recorded. The crew stated, "With the news that the air data is confirmed for the end of August da SBS, the atmosphere on set is even più warm and they are working harder to mostra a good drama."
