sposta to japan?

successivo anno I'll be old enough to work, and I want to spend my summer vacations working so that I can visit Japan. I'm pretty sure I'll Amore it, and if that happens I want to study there after college, and maybe sposta there. But I'm portuguese and I'm afraid I may not adapt. Of course I'll study the language, but still.. Is there anyone who moved to Giappone and can tell me if it was difficult to adapt and if living there was what te were expecting o something else (better? worse?). Are japanese people friendly? And I'm studying arts, so do te think I have a chance to find a job there? Thank te (:

I live in NY and i never been to Giappone so i dont how it is there....but if u want try to see how life te should go 4 it and mabey ask a friend to go w/ u.And I dont know if the japanese are freindly like honestly im kinda nervous of them b/c i never tlk 2 a Japanese person.lol but mabey te might make a friend in my opion,u should go for it :)
