When it comes to pranks, Little Mix have proved they\'re pros. Having said that, they\'ve learnt not to mess with each other after Leigh-Anne Pinnock\'s practical joke backfired...

"We do [prank each other] now and again but it never ends up very well. Leigh-Anne\'s learnt the hard way about pranks," Jesy Nelson told ​Digital Spy​ when we caught up with Little Mix at the Radio 1 Teen Awards.

"She\'s just a little cow!" Perrie Edwards interjected.

Turns out it all stems from a wind-up about free make-up. So what happened?

"She put letters under our doors saying that Mac had a room downstairs at the hotel and if you got there at 6 in the morning you could have free make-up​," Perrie explained.

"We were like \'Holy shitballs!\' and got up really early in the morning. Then we got on the bus and were raging that it had closed. [Leigh-Anne] was like \'Oh you missed it! We got this and that\'.

"Then we found out she was lying so we put salt in her tea. You don\'t mess with girls and their Mac emotions!"

So there you have it. Mess with Little Mix about free make-up and you\'ll get a nasty surprise in your cuppa.

The group are currently battling it out with Ellie Goulding for number one after releasing their third album
