Right, you lot - something\'s been bugging us and we need a bit of a rant about it. Basically, following Little Mix\'s super-swanky Get Weird album launch party the other night, Jesy Nelson was papped crying as she left the venue. And, obviously, the pictures popped up in the papers faster than you can say \'it\'s in his DNA.\' IS IT ALL OVER WITH JAKE ROCHE? WAS SHE PISSED OFF WITH PERRIE EDWARDS? WHY DOES ANYONE EVEN GIVE A SHIT?

See it\'d be hypocritical of us to sit here and slate the paparazzi after we spent so long studying these pics of One Direction arriving at Radio 1 just yesterday; but what we wanna know is where do you draw the line between public interest and invasion of privacy? Is a human being crying for reasons unknown *really* newsworthy?

This isn\'t even about painting Jesy as a victim \'cos she\'s a) so far from it and b) fierce af. It\'s more a discussion as to why this is plastered everywhere from the tabloids to our Twitter timelines. Does this look like somebody who\'s ready to pose for a pic to you?

Obviously there\'s the whole \'celebrities choose to be in the public eye, it\'s part of the job\' argument, but when you\'re essentially being treated like some kind of zoo exhibit when you\'re clearly in distress sort of renders that point void. All we know is that we probably wouldn\'t be on board with a photo of us ugly crying to \'Secret Love Song Pt. II\' doing the rounds tbh.

With Jesy so evidently upset, why would paps insist on snapping away to secure themselves a couple of quid at someone else\'s expense? It\'s the sort of behaviour that pushed Britney Spears to the brink and threw Justin Bieber off a bit.

Oh, and don\'t even get us started on all the speculative journalism surround it. Somehow, without Jesy actually saying a word, rumours of rifts with her fiancé​ Jake and even the Little Mix ladies have surfaced. Er, do you lot know something we don\'t or are y\'all bullshitting?

We\'re going on a bit here, but basically the internet can take something like this properly milk it. It can actually be pretty dangerous. Remember the meme of Jesy\'s \'Jamaican accent\'? Of course you do, it\'s bloody everywhere. You\'ve kinda just gotta ask if something\'s been taken too far sometimes, y\'know?

ANYWAY Jesy\'s obviously not fazed by it and has since chucked cute pics with both Jake and Little Mix on Instagram to stop the speculation. Slay, bae.
