What is the saddest movie te have ever seen ?

I had no idea what Bridge to Terabithia would really be like. I simply thought it was gonna be a fun imaginative kid film. the successivo thing I knew I was bawling my eyes out. I tried to hold back at first but that gave me an awful headache. so yeah...

Definatley The farfalla effect, especially with the alternative ending where the protaganist hangs himself in the womb so that everyone he loves could be happy without him. It's the only other movie besides the devils rejects thar made me cry.

BIUTIFUL with Javier Bardem (directed da Alejandro González Iñárritu).After watching this movie I felt like listening to some good Musica to cheer me up. It's da far the saddest movie I've ever seen.

LOADS but the two that never fail to make me cry like a baby is Rapunzel - L'intreccio della torre and The Lion King for the animated movies, and Marley and Me and The Last Song for the live action ones.

A Night To Remember - the far superior and più accurate telling of the Titanic story.

That movie is soooo sad!

I was 17 years old, when the 3-Part, Televisione Mini-Series had released the Outstanding Movie of, "Jesus Of Nazareth," over the 3-Day Observation of Easter. They had to deliver this Very Powerful and Engrossing Film over 3 Consecutive nights, because the whole movie is a little over "SIX HOURS LONG! So they segmented the Film in 2--Hour Increments for 3 Days, starting on "Good Friday," and delivering its emotionally driven, last 2 hours in the early night of Easter Sunday.

I, even at a teenage anno of 17, was SO Impressed & quite moved da this Movie, I have since make it a Tradition to watch EVERY anno at Easter. But because it lacks ANY TIME dato to ANY boredom, the Film is so Remarkable and Engrossing that if te think that this 6 ora Movie might be "too long," te are sadly mistaken! The time just FLIES da when te are watching this Film! It is SO INCREDIBLY GOOD that I have enlisted it as My All Time preferito Movie.

In the past Decade o so, I have now included watching the 6-hour movie over Natale time too! It is really THAT GREAT! I think that Amazon.com delivers a very well written Review of this Film, which I will Post after this Paragraph. The ending of this movie, however, is so very emotionally packed, and gripping, that te will NOT find a dry eye in the house! seen a a few really sad Film but the 1st one that still makes me cry just thinking about it is, White Dog, i just happened to be channel surfing so i probably missed the 1st 30 o so minuti (don't really know, i never wanted to re-watch it) but i don't think i have ever cried so hard at another movie since :(

For me, it's Bicentennial Man. It is about a robot that is able to develop human emotions. He decides to go on a journey to become a human being. He comes very close to his goal to! But... well, it's sad. The ending made my girlfriend even cry...

I think that My Sister's Keeper is particularly cuore wrenching if you've experienced a loss such as the one in that movie, o a loss due to what is in the movie. I couldn't actually watch the end.

The Lovely Bones is più subtle in it's sadness. te really have to pay attention to the narration and the story to really grasp just how sad it is, but the ending is lovely. Sad but lovely :) xx

Once A Thief - as a young teenager when I 1st saw it I wasn't aware of plot devices and how they use things later - so took little notice of the game with the main character's daughter other than it was cute. I'm not surprised no one had detto this yet since this is admittedly an Indie movie, but evey movie so far on this lista is chicken sh!t compared to The Road. Like the movie is set in an apocalypse where everything is dying, (no zombies o anything) and people have turned to cannibalism. So the guy has a revolver and two bullets for it, so he is always considering killing himself and his kid seeing as it would be a better death then bring raped and eaten da cannibals. I didn't give away anything except the plot. ONLY MOVIE TO MAKE ME CRY EVER.

for me it was "A Little Princess" ('95). I cried so hard i couldn't breathe. I was 11 yrs old and hadn't seen my dad for about a year. so when she was screaming for her dad to remember her, I Lost it.

Definitely P.S. I Amore te (I didn't even get through the whole thing), Beaches (It's older, but its really sad), and Bridge to Terabithia (I saw that when I was seven and haven't watched it since). I think te tend to be più sensitive to sad Film if you've had a sad event in your life (Mine was when my grandfather I was very close to died unexpectedly and tragically about a anno ago).

The green mile da far! I didn´t even cry while watching titanic, the notebook etc I was rather bored! I think it´s quite a clische lovestory, but the green mile deals with a serious topic and shows how unfair our world is! I believe John Coffeys execution scene, was the saddest thing I´ve ever seen! The whole story just was so tragic, yet so beuatiful!

There have been plenty of sad Film that I have seen, but perhaps the absolute saddest had to be "A Walk to Remember"; entering the theater the night the movie came out back in January of 2002, I thought this was going to be one of those films where I'd be getting up thinking it was one of the funnier Film I'd seen when all was set and done, but in the end, I had tears in my eyes, and my mom (who knew I'd be going to see a movie that evening) was there waiting for me; when I walked in the door as soon as my ride dropped me off (a girl I went to school with at that time), I collapsed in my mom's arms sobbing.
