It's absolutely unnecessary for a majority of all fandoms. :/ ESPECIALLY this one. I mean, seriously...there's these perverted artworks of the ponies that you can find practically by searching a well-known pony's name on Google. T__T;

But you know, there's always that dark side to the fandom. You just can't expect the whole of it to be full of fanatics who love to discuss the episodes, characters, and make good fanart. There will always be those kinds of fans lurking around.

Me, I'm not into that kind of thing, but like the rules of the internet say
Rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions.
Rule 34b: If there is not yet any porn made of it, there soon will be.

No matter what, there will always be someone to make things like that. Might as well accept that and just ignore/tolerate it.

I'm with btflash; I try not to let any of it bother me. It's a little scary sometimes, but, uhhhhh....different strokes for different folks? Different balonies for different ponies/bronies? ^.^;;
