Yup, it was about time. I didn't understand why she was ignored so much in the previous Season. She's one of the Mane 6, for goodness sake! :)

Yeah, I didn't like Rarity at first too. But as I kept watching the show, she grew onto me. She's a very deep, well established character, which means we know a lot about her (strengths, weaknesses, etc.) and Tabitha St. Germain's voice acting is just freakin' amazing, she charges up the character with life. I especially love how she handles Rarity's drama queen scenes.
