Pssh, lie. They've already set the release date, trailer, and all the minor details just just about finished being hammered out. There's no way in hell they'd just stop all production. Plus, there'd be too much of an uproar from fans. Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen.
While Ed Westwick does seem like he would make a good vampire, I don't think he could be Alec if only because of age. Both Alec and Jane are very young (tweens/early teens) and so I don't think he has the right appearance for Alec, but perhaps someone else.
i think he will make a good alec but they already hired another actor to play alec but your right he is cute. da the way the guy that is playing alec is cameron bright!
