Private began to tear up when the two horrified penguins found their bleeding leader laying face down on the ground without any movement. Rico slammed into the door trying to open it.
R: "Skipper! Skipper!"
P: "It's no use, Rico!"
Private wept into his flippers. Rico had to think of something. Then it hit him. Private looked over to Rico who was now spitting up various weapons. Finally Rico snatched a stick of dynamite from his pile of reguriated ammo.
R: "Kaboom"
P: "Rico, no-"
It was too late rico had already blown up the door. A fog of dust seperated them from the walk-in fridge. Just when they were sure Skipper had been caught in the explosion, a familar cough came from the ruins of the storage room. Skipper trudged out covered in dust. He put a flipper behind his head, and examined the blood covered flipper. Skipper then grabbed a pane coltello for self-defense.
The three went to head out the door when Skipper sensed some one following them. Kowalski was waiting for them at the door with the same ax in his hand. They rushed up the stairs with Kowalski right on there tail feathers. Soon they Lost him da racing through the halls. They hid in the bathroom of the room they stayed in. Loud footsteps came from outside the door, and got closer and closer. Thud, thud, thud.
K: "Come out, Private! I'm not going to hurt you."
Skipper turned to Private, his eyes wide with urgency, and shook his head. An uncomfortable silence hung over the room. It was over in a secondo when an ax penatrated the door.
P: "Ahh! Kowalski stop! Leave us alone!"
Skipper gathered his team behind him, and opened the window. But he couldn't get it opened all the way. There amount he had opened was too narrow for most of them to fit through.
P: "What are we going to do, Skipper?!"
Skipper took a few steps backward. Charging at the window at full speed, he created a large hole in the glass. Pieces of shattered glass stuck out of Skipper's bleeding shoulder.
S: "Go!"
R: "Nah-uh, te first."
The ax cut through the door once more, but this time Kowalski cut deeper into the same spot. He retreated the ax and stuck his face in the hole with an evil grin.
K: "Here's Kowalski!"
Private screamed at the superiore, in alto of his lungs as Kowalski reached his flipper through the massive for the locked doorknob. In a flash, Skipper grabbed the coltello and cut into Kowalski's flipper, which receded with a scream from Kowalski.
S: "Get out, now!"
P: "But, Skippah-"
S: "That's an order, soldier! I'll be okay as long as te two are safe!"
Rico colomba out the window onto a pile of snow, but Private didn't go.
P: "I'm not going to let him hurt you!"
Skipper got up, picked up Private, and dropped him through the hole. Skipper was about to follow when he heard Private hit the ground, but he heard some one breathing heavily behind him.
S: "K-Kowalski y-you don't want to do this."
K: "Why wouldn't I? Without te I'll be in charge, and I won't have to take orders from some fat dunderbrained boob. Don't worry I'll take good care of Private and Rico. Maybe, I'll mount their heads on the bacheca along with yours."
Kowalski chuckled, but while he put his guard down Skipper lunged out the window. He tumbled down the mound of snow. Private and Rico helped him up. Kowalski came down after him.
S: "Private, take the lead!"
Private did as Skipper commanded, but paused when they reached the thicket.
P: "Which way do I go?"
S: "Try going... straight!"
They hustled their way through the trees and bushes. Kowalski stopped in his tracks.
K: "What am I doing? What have I done?!"
Kowalski felt a crumbling feeling under his feet. He bent down and picked it up. Dusting off snow, he realized it was a newspaper from a long time ago. Just when he was about to throw it on the ground in frustration, he noticed a story that caught his attention. It read:
Overveiw Massacare
A man and his family stayed alone in the Overveiw Hotel that was closed for the winter. The man went crazy from 'cabin fever', and chopped his wife and two sons into little pieces. After rumors of their ghost haunting, and his ghost posessing guests, the hotel was forced to close, because lack of costumers.
Kowalski had to catch up with them and explain. Luckily, he remembered a short cut to the car. He dropped the ax.
When the penguins reached the car they were scared stiff to see Kowalski shivering in the front seat.
K: "I don't know what to say. Besides explain da giving te this."
Kowalski handed Skipper the newspaper. The team gathered together to read it.
After Leggere it thoroughly, the penguins hugged Kowalski.
P: "Let's never go back there again!"
K: "Agreed,"
And they drove back home as one happy and united team.
