Skipper bolted upright.

Private fell out of his bunk.
"Oof." He landed on his back. "Did te hear that, Skippa'?"

Skipper glanced down nervously at the young private. His breathing settled, and he jump out of his bunk, almost landing on Private.
"We got no time to lose. Roll out, team!"

Skipper turned to face the bunks. Rico and Kowalski were still snoring in their beds. Skipper sighed. He grabbed some extra pillows and chucked them at the sleeping soldiers.

Skipper sat in the HQ drinking his preferito pesce flavored coffee and Leggere his morning briefing. From what he read there seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary going on today, training in the AM, a lunch brake midday, and some crowd wooing in the afternoon.

Private, Kowalski, and Rico were just getting out of letto when Skipper spoke up.

“Well men,” Skipper detto sternly as he placed the briefing on the tavolo and took a sip of his coffee, “make sure you’re outside at 0700 hours” he continued checking the clock on the wall; it showed 6:45.

The Penguins are all around the tavolo when they hear a hollow screech coming from Marlene’s habitat. Skipper leads them and they go through Marlene’s front door. They can hear Marlene but they can’t see her.

S: Kowalski, perimeter check!

Kowalski walks around until he notices that the sewer hole is opened and they see Marlene with all the rats around her. Skipper panics and has says anything without thinking.
