I like the Clique novels too, but they aren't my FAVES.

The Blonde guy with the sword, Mister Teh-a-tar-meh, and the Wizard are the Baddies. Yup, weird. Like me! :D. I also liked "Cry of the Icemark" and "Blade of Fire" da Stuart Hill. Practicly anything with Warrior girls/ Queens/ Princess in it.
