Well, personally I believe that people should wait until their married to have sex. I also believe in the Bible. It makes me detto to hear that people don't believe in God, but I'm not gonna segnala them because they say they don't. To play the Devil's advocate, I don't think that the person who postato the original commento intended to come across the way they did. True, they should have worded their answer più carefully, but I don't believe they should have been reported for it. And to run the risk of insulting someone, I would like to say that it is slightly petty for someone's intelligence to be insulted over a most likely innocent, if misworded, commento such as the commento in question. I hope I do not offended anyone da saying this because I hold anyone who stands for their beliefs in high regard, even if their beliefs do not agree with mine. It takes a strong person to stand up for what they believe in.

I am a christian, but I agree. People who rub religion in other peoples faces seems to me their way of saying "I'm better than you!" as opposed to witnessing, which to me should be like seeing a casual aquaintance-encouraged but not forced on people. And "only smart people read the Bible" sounds like their trying to force religion on people who don't want it. And, call me a hypocrite fellow Christians if te will, but I dont believe everything written in the bible-take the ten commandments and Revelation for example. I believe those were written to scare people into the faith, Because I believe Jelousy and Wrath are beneath the benevolent, caring God I was taught about when I was younger.

Call me dumb o anything te wish, but I don't see total offense in that statement. I once came across a person who detto that the only reason for a person to be here on Earth is to procreate, and anyone else (Gay people, sterile people etc.) pretty much had no reason to be alive. I had another person say that homosexuality is a sin (which isn't a new rant at all -_-), and when people objected this person told them that he/she (I gotta protect the identity of others, sorry) will see those people in hell.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that I've seen my own awful share of comments, and pretty much have ran out of shocked reactions for them. :/

Now, I agree that it was wrong to call someone "not smart". When giving your opinion te should state it without name calling.Especially on that particular subject..

However, on a broader term. If someone is asked their honest opinion, the person who asked the domanda is to expect to possibly have opinions that differ from their own.

I did see that. I corrected her, RELIGIOUS people listen to the Bible, not necessarily smart people.
But of course people who listen to the Bible won't find that offensive at all, because it's telling them that they're smart, even if they aren't.
And I did actually find that kind of offensive, because I felt like she was saying that only smart people listen to the bible, and that all smart people listen to the bible, and that those who DON'T listen to the bible are stupid. I don't listen to the bible, but I consider myself to be "smart". (That's what it sounded like to me.)
And she also contradicted herself. She obviously listened to the bible, and considered herself smart for it, but her post was completely illogical and downright stupid.
I'm not part of any religion, I follow my own ideas, but I respect other people's opinions no matter how stupid I think they are. But throwing te beliefs into someone else's face, however, is something I won't stand for.
And I don't see why religious fighting is such a problem now a days. No matter what your beliefs are, te believe in SOME kind of force. For a Christian, it's God, for an Atheist, it's science. I don't see why people go to such lengths to prove- o disprove -"God", because no matter what there is a force. Why can't we all agree on that instead of fighting over it because "GOD IS RIGHTEOUS!" o "God doesn't exist!". We don't know what exactly that outer force is, and we'll probably never know for absolute sure, and no matter what people are going to believe what they want to believe, so why fight over it? I wish più people would understand that.

I think that person who postato that had the right to post their answer no matter what. That's part of this website. te can't always know what someone elses beliefs are, and they asked for your answer. That person gave their answer and believed it to be right. There's nothing wrong with what they responded because the person never detto in the più information that they were Atheist, Muslim, Christian, o otherwise.
