How do te process the emotion of saudade?

I find myself quite often being in that kind of state. For as long as I remember actually. It can be a bit frustrating when being uncertain why both the longing and melancholy exist but they can also be comforting at times along with the particular kind of nostalgia. Cherished times that te keep with te and a reminder that there are still things te can do actually. That's the basic gist of it !!!!
