Soo, I don't really understand how Maka summons her own blades when shes unconsious in the last episode, I had a theaory that it was because her dads a weapon but it didnt seem to really explain it much.

if te listened to the kishin while she did it he detto that cause she's a weapon who became a miester and that since shes unconscience she has no fear which allows her to use her weapon form

...It was pretty much filler, it didn't have to make sense.

Maybe if the Anime company had asked Ohkubo to design an ending, then it would have been better..>.<

i think the other one who answer this is right for the Anime but i herd thet the Anime is not exacly like the manga and the manga is still have new episodes after it u know?

Well the ring's Kid has and how they effect his father are explained (kindof) in the manga; but oddly enough, no mention Maka weapon yet; might be in the manga, might not

it should also be noted that the characteristics of meisters have not been really explained yet. Are meisters normal humans with special training o do they have special powers? Can anyone be a meister o just those born with the ability?

:D um... it's hard to explain, but I believe in the manga that didn't happen. But in the anime, the reason for it happening is a little confusing. Okay, so, te know that Maka's dad, spirit, is a death scythe, right? And her mothers a Meister, also. So what happened is that when they had Maka, Maka got a hint of spirit's death weapon gene(s). And when she was unconscious and in danger, her death weapon gene(s) came "out of hiding" and unconsciously woke up and helped her protect herself and attack. ALL OF THIS WAS NOT MADE UP, AND I DIDNT MAKE IT UP :3

If te Listen to Asura talk while Maka is doing this,he says it is because of her Weapon blood (from spirit) And she could only summon the blades because she unconscious,allowing her to now feel pain o fear..I'm kinda a REALLY obsessed SE fangirl so any domande te have I can answer no problem ^_^ Especially if they are about Death the Kid....

Maka's father is a weapon, and her mother is a Meister, so she has the gift of a Meister and because her father is a death scythe (weapon) she don't know her abilities, so therefore when ever she goes asleep (can't spell it) she turns into a weapon

It's quite simple see. Her father is a weapon, and her mother is a meister. So she has both weapon AND meister blood in her body. Just sit there and think about it for a while...

it's because she was scard but she knew she had to keep fighting,and she did it unconsious

The kishen's madness summond the weapon inside of her kind of like how the Kishen sommons his weapon but he ate the weapon she just has weapon blood in her.

This doesn't happen in the manga at all...she's just a normal meister in the manga....
Anyways, since this is the Anime we're talking about, what people detto about Spirit's genetics and what not being passed down to Maka...
And the manga wasn't complete, so they probably just wanted to make the ending più interesting. I am not happy with the ending. -_-
