Paul, George, and Ringo talked about what they could do to keep John sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza from Mark David Chapman. Ringo said, "We could hide him somewhere." George said, "That's all very well, but that's easier detto than done. Where would we hide him? Londra doesn't have a lot of hiding places." Paul remarked, "Who detto it had to be in London?" George and Ringo looked at Paul, waiting to hear his suggestion. Paul said, "I have a farm in Scotland. John could stay at my place." Ringo said, "Brilliant, Paul! Scotland is miles away from London." George nodded in agreement. Later, Paul, George, and Ringo told John about the idea. John felt relief. Surely he would be sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza in Scotland. Also, with Paul around, John would definitely be safe. When John arrived at Paul's, Paul said, "You look exhausted, John. Perhaps te should get some rest." John soon went to sleep, and he slept like he hadn't slept in years. After he woke up, he checked his e-mail. He saw another e-mail from Hazel. The message said, "Hi, John. Did te mostra your mates the video I sent you?" He replied, "Yes, I did. Don't worry. I'm at Paul's. I'm sure to be sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza there." She said, "Jolly good. If you'd like, my Friends and I could shield you, too." When John read this, his eyes widened. "Are te crazy, Hazel?! te could get yourself hurt o worse! I don't want te to get hurt o killed for my sake." He at first put it in all caps, but he changed it to avoid sounding rude. Hazel was determined, however, and she said, "I'd rather it be me than te o your mates." John was touched da this. He was ready to cry, but Paul came in. John didn't want Paul to see him crying. Paul asked, "Are te all right, John?" John managed to smile and said, "Yes, I am." Paul said, "You know, te can tell me anything." John said, "Read this." He showed Paul the conversation with Hazel. Paul said, "I'm touched. We really do mean a lot to our fans, don't we?" John said, "We do." Paul asked, "Does this mean we're not breaking up?" John said, "No, Paul. We're not breaking up, ever. Just don't make it mushy, all right?" Paul laughed a little and said, "Right, John."

The Beatles took their girlfriends out for a fancy cena in a nice restaurant with dark, secluded tables where no one could see them to bother them. All four Beatles felt a little uncomfortable in the back of their minds, knowing this was the first time they had even not shown up when their fan were expecting to see them. But sitting here in the candlelight with their best girls, these thoughts seemed somehow unimportant, and were pushed aside.
“Let’s go back and get the car,” Paul said, as they stepped out into the chilly night air a few hours later. “I can drive us up to your house.”...

For the rest of their week in town, the Beatles spent every free minuto with their new girlfriends. They took long walks in the chilly late-fall air, the Beatles holding their girlfriends’ hands after receiving cool nods of permission. This activity, though, meant that the fan could see them, and many of them made it clear that they were not happy about the Beatles’ choice of girlfriend at all.
“Stupid girls,” muttered Emily again, as she and John passed a small crowd of teenagers who glared at Emily and cast pleading looks at John.
“These ignorant teenagers should be locked away for...

Paul hoped the subject of names wouldn't come up again; the whole thing was making him very uncomfortable. He didn't like having to pretend like this, but he didn't see what else he could do. He steered the conversation to anything else that popped into his head as he, Ringo, and Winston took their adjoining seats on the plane. Winston grinned at these increasingly random topics with a teasing expression, and Paul, hastily casting his mind around for a topic that would be completely natural to bring up, said, "Do te like rock-and-roll music, Ringo?"
Ringo perked up. "I Amore it! That's what...
