Some critical points in the development of Rick Riordan's manipulative Scrivere style are easily apparent in the Mark of Athena. The majority of the plot consistently backs up my past theories, (see my articolo Rick Riordan) and manages to suggest that Rick holds even più control over his readers minds than I had ever imagined.

Strategies Used To Keep Readers On Their Toes:

1. Increase in tension between characters

2. Added complications to plot

3. Withholding information for future surprises

4. Cliffhangers

5. Frustrating moments and characters to give the reader a stronger emotional standing

Ways He has us under his control:

1. His Scrivere is used to keep us content while making us dependent on it.

2. We know a lot about him and Amore his writing, while he has no idea who we are giving him ultimate advantage over us

I expected all of this, however he still manages to surprise me. I knew there would be a great deal of Percabeth tension with Annabeth's job. But I did not expect him to go as far as to have Percy and Annabeth fall down a one way portal to Tartarus. being a sucker for all of the things I mentioned I am naturally extremely in distress over everything.

What bothered him was that Kieran seemed to follow him round “everywhere” but Jacob just decided to ignore it. But when Jacob saw Kieran in his cadets he knew something was going on that day, the cadet leader was the taking the whole group skydiving, but te weren’t allowed to go if te had only just started. So why was Kieran allowed? Jacob always...

Jason knows the Roman name for storm spirits and satyrs, demigods (as far as I know) use the greek names for gods, monsters and what not. So what if his godly parent was a Roman god, one with out a Greek equivalent. I did the research and sadly all Roman gods have a Greek equal.
My successivo theory was that Jason's godly parent is the patron god/goddess of Rome o that they have something to do with Rome. These are the possibilities (If te believe my theory)

Ares- Ares is considered the patron god of Rome because he was the father of Romulus who was the founder of Rome.- I don't believe this is...
