Well, nice to see some fans of The Killing - PaulLev & drewjoana. Thanks for this review & thoughts.
YES, (on your review), "no place left to twist or turn," which is exactly how I felt sitting in my chair as the finale unfolded or unraveled.

I'll try to add 1-2 thoughts.
1. I did sleep on it..this ending, and I imagined that along with the strong possibility that Sarah pulling the trigger was an out of control RUSH of adrenaline-shock-fear-betrayal..it could also be part "mercy killing," like putting a rabid animal out of it's misery..in this case - her former boss-friend-eeks..lover..out of his friggin' mind.
2. Dark..rainy cloud icon..which is what now hangs over Holder & Linden..so we must have a S4 to glimpse any silver lining to this turn of events.
