“Run in, come out. Run in, come out...” Elena kept whispering it to herself. That was the most basic way of laying out the complex plan that Bonnie had devised. For as devious as Damon was, he didn’t have a good head for detailed forethought. Someone that Elena could easily beat at chess. That’s why they called Bonnie in.
Problem 1: Katherine wanted everything that Elena had.
Problem 2: Elena had Damon and still a piece of Stefan’s heart.
Problem 3: Katherine had many Friends in high AND low places.
Problem 4: Elena had exactly 6 friends. 4 humans (Jenna, Jeremy, Rick and Caroline), 1 witch (Bonnie) and 1 vampire (Damon).
And even with the skill at which Elena could check mate an opponent in a strategic board game, she didn’t know how to make 6 pons turn into a fighting strength great enough to defeat a Queen like Katherine. da the time Elena o anyone else on the white team made one move, black Katherine could skitter across the board and kill any piece she wanted without much effort at all.
Enter plan A. Bonnie would respell the tomb in way that was almost too beautifully woven. The entrance was just one step. Once Elena lured them in, she still had to get out so Bonnie had set up a maze. Even Damon had to thump back in his chair when looking at the picture Bonnie had drawn to explain it.
There were a series of grids in the maze o sections in the tomb rather. Bonnie could spell them to “displace” a human but do nothing to a vampire. This meant that while Katherine and Stefan had speed, Elena had what could only be called teleportation. So, if Elena entered grid one, she would come out in grid 4. 4 connected to 7, 7 to 2 and so on. It was a series of shifts that even a vampire couldn’t figure out o catch up with in time to get Elena before she came back out of the tomb door.
Thinking about it made her feel like a frog that took a zig zag pattern, hopping from one lily pad to the successivo while the other little tad poles had to swim in a straight line, never being one with the frog. Like a game of wack-a-mole that Bonnie had devised to a science.
To simplify: All Elena had to do was run and keep running o “Run in, come out. Run in, come out.” as she kept whispering to herself. No one but Bonnie need know how the maze worked. As long as Elena just ran her culo off till she was out the tomb door, all would be fine.
While impressed, Damon was very worried.
“Are te sure this is the only way? Couldn’t we lure them in with something else?” He asked, brow creasing in a concerned frown that would never come age his face.
“Look, Elena’s what they’ll go for most at this point. Nothing else is as important. Everything other than is secondary and we can’t get their attention on something of lesser value while the pot of oro is sitting right here.”
The female Gilbert, hearing the on going conversations just resorted to a faux fascination with her cuticles and the simple phrase whispered to herself. She had tried to keep up with Bonnie’s explanation of the plan but when the witch started using phrases like “lining up the grids to make linear plane jumps in a non-linear physical layout” the lines blurred and Elena took from it only what she needed to know. Not like her but most of her actions lately weren’t.
*Will I ever be the same as I was?*
As if Leggere her concern, Damon turned to her and grasped her hand, “I promise you’ll be alright. Just do this one thing and we’ll take care of the rest.”
Bonnie’s eyes where on the couple’s joined digits. She still hadn’t gotten use to them being together. Stefan being evil was a lot to ingoiare, inghiottire as well, not to mention a super calm Caroline dato what she was assigned to do.
Jenna on the other hand was pacing in the cucina freaking out as jeremy stood leaning against the fridge, eyes fixed on an invisible point in a replicated pose from another in the room. Alaric, the brooding trendsetter had made sure to close all windows and turn on any device that would white noise out all the conversation before taking up his staring position at the sink. All had a lot of their mind.

TWO DAYS LATER...
“You’ll never get Elena now. She’s probably already-”
“Shut up Caroline!” Jenna yelled then had to struggle for the successivo gasp of breath.     Katherine had Caroline da the throat and Stefan was trained on Jenna.
“Your bravery won’t get te anywhere, Jenna.” Katherine detto in an unwarranted tone of familiarity.
Jenna then looked at Stefan. “What are te doing this for? I thought te loved her? No matter what happens with two people in Amore they never get back that piece of their heart. There’s something still in there for her and te know it.” For a diviso, spalato secondo Stefan’s eyes began to soften but Katherine’s evil giggle fortified the wall.
“A cold body always spreads the warmth to other places. Elena’s death will fix everything.” Katherine’s smirk turned into a glare at Caroline. “Now, where is she?”
    Caroline’s lips pressed tightly together.
“Fine. Stefan, kill her.” Stefan was half way to Jenna’s throat when Caroline caved.
    “Wait! Wait! I’ll tell you...”

Jenna and Caroline were drug along through the woods until they came upon a hidden vantage point along side the two vampires. “Keep your mouth shut” Katherine whispered to Caroline.” There were voices that carried through the trees. Familiar voices that Katherine was now honed in on.
“Okay, Elena, Bonnie spelled it so that once te go in, you’ll be in there for 2 days while we take care of Katherine and Stefan. It’s only good for 48 hours and there is about 10 minuti till it goes up.” Alaric explained. “Any questions?”
“Yeah, Damon can’t get to me once it’s sealed right?”
    “Right.”
“And after the 2 days we can’t even trap Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. in there?” Elena asked.
“I only have enough power for this one thing. trapping Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. in there again is out of the question. Keeping te in there until the everything is done is the only way to keep te safe.” Bonnie answered.
buried in the trees Katherine looked to Stefan. They were keeping their captives quiet with clamped hands and had been listening intently themselves.
“I say we skip ahead a few steps, go in after her and take a nice long 2 days to torture and kill that little wanna-be. What do te think, dear Stefan?”
“Sounds good.” His now common evil grin graced his features and his hand accidentally loosed just enough. “ELENA! GET INSIDE!” Jenna yelled.
Katherine rolled her eyes and tossed Caroline aside. There wasn’t much point in hiding now. Stefan did the same and they both ran into the fray.
Jeremy took his stance with Alaric, Damon and Bonnie while Elena ran into the opening. “Guard it till the spell takes hold!” Alaric shouted.
The humans shot out as many air compressed stakes as they could while Bonnie lowered her head in an effort to throw the attackers off mentally. Damon went full on fangs and all. Katherine dogged a stake shot out from Jeremy and just missed him as she flung it back. Stefan, now on human blood was beating his brother to a pulp and Alaric’s assaults were being flicked away as if coming from an ant.
It ended almost faster than it began with Bonnie on the ground with a bloody noise yet faring much better than the others.
Katherine and Stefan strolled right into the tomb and the others looked at one another in the accomplishment of their little skit. The first part of the plan complete.
*Come on, Elena, get outta there, girl* Bonnie prayed.

*****confused? That’s okay. It will be cleared up in part 10... a little*****
Elena was sitting in the kitchen, playing solitaire. She picked up a card and squeezed her eyes at the Joker image. “You’re mocking me, aren’t you?” She got tired of the game, because she was losing, and collected the cards. Then she took two card and placed them against each other, creating a triangle. She did the same with two other cards and placed them successivo to the first triangle. “Are te seriously building a card house now?” Jeremy asked. He was sitting in the couch, playing a computer game. Elena didn’t respond; she needed all her focus on the construction. “Let her be,...

“Okay, that doesn’t look very nice” the doctor said. Jeremy was sitting on the examination table, Alaric was leaning onto the closet. “I’m afraid I’m going to have to stitch” While she prepared her stitching material she talked to her patient. “So, how did this happen? Were te involved in a fight?” Jeremy looked how she pierced the stitching scissor in his hand. “No, it wasn’t like that. It was an accident” he answered. “I broke a cup, two cups. Cut my hand” The doctor nodded. “Are te vaccinated for tetanus?” Jeremy looked up at Alaric, who helplessly raised...

Bonnie woke up difficult. She opened her eyes. Everything was blurry and every limb on her body hurt. She felt a firm grip around her arm and someone pulled her up. Her head rocked back and forth when the same person slapped her in the face. “Booonniiee” a male voice sang. Damon, Bonnie realized. Slowly the events of the night before hit her fuzzy brain. Katherine, the attack, Damon’s anger. The room became più clear and she saw Damon standing right in front of her. “You’re awake” he said. “It’s about time” He made a step backwards, giving Bonnie the chance to catch a breath....

The successivo morning
Jeremy stumbled off the stairs; he probably would’ve fallen down if he hadn’t hold on to the banisters. Coffee, he needed coffee and lots of it. He staggered to the cucina and opened the cupboard to get out a cup. He managed to take three out and watched them shatter into pieces on the floor.
“Damnit” he detto and he ducked to collect the fragments. He picked one and naturally cut his hand. “Shit” he cursed.
“It’s never a good idea to swear in the very early morning” Alaric entered the cucina and noticed the glass and the blood. “Does it hurt?” he asked...

She knocked three times, then waited for Bonnie to open the door. It was pretty cold outside, so she hoped her plan would work. Five minuti later, what took her so long?, the door went open and Bonnie appeared on the doorstep. She lifted up her chin and looked down on Katherine. “What?” she detto short. Katherine forced a smile, which was hard enough, knowing Damon was inside there against his will. “Hi, Bonnie, I’m sorry to bother te this late, but I need to talk to you” she said, trying to sound cheery. After all, Elena was in a cheery mood, so Katherine had to be too. “Really?...

Katherine slammed the door and leaned against it. She had not signed up for this mess. They had to find Stefan, but instead Elena was living in arcobaleno Land, Damon was in control of the bitch. And Caroline was with her father. At least that’s what Sherrif Forbes told Elena. Katherine found it rather suspicious. It was too sudden. Caroline was helping them and now she stepped out of it, just like Elena. Did Carolines physical absence relate to Elena’s mental absence and did Bonnie have a hand in both cases? For the first time in a very long time Katherine wished she was human. There was...

Bonnie pushed Damon over the porch into her house. He walked ahead to the kitchen, Bonnie behind him. He turned around and saw the furious expression on her face. In other circumstances he would’ve made a sarcastic comment, but the way things were now, Damon knew the best thing was to keep his mouth shut. “I thought we had an agreement” she detto slowly and threatening while she came closer to Damon. “You wouldn’t drink any human blood” she continued. Damon frowned his eyebrows frustrated. “You detto that, I never detto I agreed” Bonnie widened her eyes and Damon wouldn’t have...

“What do te mean, couple?”
Amber was back from her mission. Stefan had asked her to keep a distant eye on Elena and Damon and now she was bringing information.
“As in couple couple. Damon and Bonnie are a couple. I heard Bonnie say ‘That’s my boyfriend you’re clinging on’ and ‘Damon loves me’ and he detto ‘Till death do us part’. Though he didn’t sound very happy” Amber said.
Stefan shook his head, confused. “But I thought Bonnie was seeing Jeremy. Did they break up?” he asked surprised. They seemed to be a solid couple. “Well, I suppose” Amber chuckled. She...

It was cold and dark and dusty. The air smelled humid and the ground was rough. The scent of fresh blood filled the unfamiliar place and penetrated in Damon’s nose. His eyes flew open and he sniffed the scent. He averted his head to a point in front of him. He looked down. Right da the entrance there was a bag of blood. Damon jumped for it, but was forceful thrown back against the wall. He looked up and saw his arms where chained. “You have to be kidding me” he weakly mumbled. He pulled with all his strength, but the chains were too strong.
“I’m afraid there’s no use in doing that”...

One week later

A corrosive, burning pain spread across Caroline’s face and with a shriek she woke up. She wanted to wipe the vervain of her face, but her hands were tight. She was sitting in some kind of room. There was a letto and a desk. There were curtains and a carpet. te couldn’t say Klaus was no good host. But despite the nice room, Caroline would Amore to get out of it, after spending a week in it. A hand holding a napkin stretched to her face and cleaned it. “I’m sorry I had to do that” Caroline opened her eyes and looked at the girl. “Yeah, I bet you’re sorry” Caroline...

Damon was sitting in the couch, his head in his hands. “Is it still not over?” Elena asked slightly worried. “I gave te two painkillers, it shouldn’t hurt no more” Damon looked up and gave her an irritated glance. “I’m not making this up, if that’s what te think” “I didn’t say I think you’re making this up” Elena defended herself. “I just find it strange… Maybe te need to get a doctor” “Yeah, let’s do that” Katherine scornfully said. She came from out of the kitchen. “Let’s go to a nice doctor and have him examine Damon. Surely he wouldn’t notice...

Bonnie was still wide awake when she heard someone banging on the door. “Jeremy” she growled as if he was the last person she wanted to see right now. The scene earlier that giorno made her realize he would come inside anyway and she may as well save him the trouble of breaking in. “What are te doing here?” she asked short. She didn’t see her boyfriend was scared to death o that he was soaked and if she did, she definitely didn’t care. “I know te detto te were going to fix this, but can te please hurry up a bit” Jeremy detto agitated. He showed the holes in his arms. “They...

Jeremy entered Bonnie’s house after he had knocked several times. He knew she was home, he had seen shadows. So he walked down the hall and opened the door. “Bonnie? Are te there?” he called out. He looked around in the suspiciously quiet room. Then he saw Bonnie standing in the corner. He almost hadn’t noticed her. “Bonnie? Why are te standing there?” he asked suspicious. Bonnie left her corner and walked towards him. “Why are te here, Jeremy?” she asked. Jeremy recognized her voice, but there was something in her way of speaking that worried him. “I need to talk to you”...

Night came in and Amber’s mood had not gotten any better. She was in her room, throwing all her stuff around. She was angry. No, she was starving. The crap she had found in the fridge couldn’t be called food. She heard a key; it sounded like it happened right successivo to her. She heard footsteps and her father saying “I’m home!” She heard him walk to the cucina and opening the fridge. As he got himself a birra he saw Rachel sitting on the couch. He walked towards her and sank down to her. That’s when he saw the bruisers on her cheek. “What happened? Who did this? Where’s Amber?”...

Katherine was lying lazy on the bed, looking bored at the ceiling. She would kill Klaus for taking her bracelet. Correction, she would let Damon kill him. She was really strong, but yet no match for the Originals. Not that Damon was, but if she had to choose, she believed her afterlife to be più worthy than Damon’s. “Geez, hurry up” she mumbled frustrated. Being locked up in this room was getting on her nerves. There was nothing interesting in here and te could only examine Damon’s rubbish so many times. After a while it was not fun anymore. The door went open and Katherine got up....

Don't go crazy on in this articolo I will try to subjective. A side the fact I don't really like Stefan that much and hate stelena but this mostra has focused A LOT on Stefan's history.

I mean isn't about the 3 main characters (Damon, elena, and Stefan) about their history and how they changed as characters, but all we have seen and learned about for the last 2 seasons is Stefan past, who he was, what he did (his past as riper), his friends(lexie) ,and who became good Stefan.

But until now we know nothing about what Damon was doing for the last 100 and so years( I mean a side from trying to get...

Ok, so I'd like to propose something. I know all of us on here Amore tvd soo much! We all have different opinions, ships, and ideas. Our diversity is such a great thing but, as we all know, it can lead to trully ugly and mean-spirited fights. I've seen people try to rip eachother to shreds over tvd and it's an embarassment to our epic show! All of us have been guilty of letting our passion get the best of us. At the end of the giorno and despite our differences, we're all tvd fans. I'd like to offer up an idea. Let's put a simple "I will" o something like that if we want to try to be più civil...

Look, I’ll say this. Katherine may have detto that she loved Damon because it would rattle Elena. But, what seems to confuse people is her behavior in 2x21-2x22 — in comination with these words. Hence, it’s very much a statement like, “I don’t get it! First, Katherine loves Stefan forever (and ever, amen!) and then she loves Damon. Katherine’s confusing!” that tends to circulate around the fandom.

But, I’ll agree there.

She’s an enigma, and I don’t deny that.

That said, I think that what you’re pointing out is actually pretty simple, and just wasn’t told to te throughout...

2x18 “foreshadowed” Bamon with the “If it comes down to te and the witch again I will gladly let Bonnie die. I will always choose you.” Bamon fan say that in the future Damon won’t be able to choose between Elena and Bonnie so easily. Really?? If I recall correctly Bonnie is the one who was in danger, she was the one who had a high risk of dying then anybody, and she would have died had she planned to kill Klaus like they originally intended. So wouldn’t it be natural for Damon to say that rather then say someone else’s name? Bonnie and Elena were the main ones that were probably...
